Who is going to give anyone sh&t about this? No charges were filed, the "alleged" victim's attorneys sent out cease & desist letters to the media with affirmative statements saying that no illegal conduct occurred. That is an extremely broad statement and would be interpreted to cover any allegations of force to include rape/sexual assault.

If the had sex, she is 17 and the age of consent in NY is 17 (in NJ it is 16). If he met her at a club he was probably under the assumption that she was at least 18 (depending on the club), if not 21. What is he supposed to do, ask to see her ID and run a background check. The girl most likely just showed a fake ID to get into the club, I can't imagine she is going to start giggling and tell him that she is only 17. Of course if she did, hopefully he thought she was joking or at least called his attorney to confirm it was legal (kinda like a "legal checkdown" at the line of scrimmage). The worst he can be accused with is hooking up with a girl after meeting her at a bar - something I sure no one on the planet has ever done, to include any of the esteemed patrons of TGG.com.
