How weird, last year Manning did the same thing. Waited til after the win. That's too easy. I'll say this, there is truth in what is being said. We came out too flat, played with a lack of urgency at times. So to me, that isn't talkng shit. Now, saying that we would have gotten a worse beatdown? That's a joke. We were a few plays, maybe even a few minutes from actually winning the game and that was our fault, not anything the STEELERS did.

They're limping now though....... The Jets played 6 of the their last 8 games this year... TWO IN PITT TWO IN NE @INDY @CHI The Steelers didn't play that and the equivalent of @ INY @ NE and @ PIt in the playoffs.
If my team limps all the way to a Super Bowl win this year I'm not going to complain. I look at it the other way. This team hasn't put it together consistently on both sides of the ball and they are STILL in the Super Bowl. That's the mark of a great team.
i still cant get over this game. how david harris, scott, pouha missed all those tackles will always be a mystery. i wish the jets talked massive shit before this game. it seems everytime there is a negative light/controversy on the jets they play well.
Good luck with that..... I just don't think the Steelers as consitituted right now, are that good.... That's why I'm sooo pissed as a fan... If I watch my team get beat by a team that I think is much better, then fine.. Even last year it was easy to see that Manning could pass whenever he wanted on the Jets depleted secondary - It happens. Hey, I didn't think the Jets came close All year to putting a complete game together although the 2 playoff games were close.... But, honestly the Jets should have beaten up that Steeler team... I'm putting some decent coin on Green Bay. Rogers is going to feast on that Secondary quite a bit better than Sanchez did and without Pouncy 100% that GB defense is going to cause some problems...
WILL SEE When the Packers spread you out and Rodgers fucking carves your defense just like Brady did... Good luck trying to stop those receivers in the superbowl.....
I didn't really care about the Super Bowl until I saw Steelers started with this. I hope they get lit up by GB. It will probably happen, it's not like the Steelers have a great defense or secondary by any stretch of the imagination.
nor did they face a team in the playoffs that was prepared to play 60 minutes. The Steelers are "opportunistic" I'll give them that........but not much else. Take the Pack giving points ; )
We'll see. This team was good enough to get through the AFC playoffs by beating two of the top three teams in the bracket. The only top contender they avoided was the Patriots. If you guys want to call them opportunistic....lucky...or whatever then fine. They can only play whoever is on the schedule.
But you come here bragging like they are this unbeatable team .. Your defense is good at stopping the run and thats it... Your team is old and is going down hill.. You got lucky with the ravens and you were fortunate that we played flat the 1st half of the game... Come sunday you going to play a complete team with a fantastic qb, awesome receivers, and a great defense... I put my money with the packers...
