By the end of last week, the sting of the loss somewhat subsided. I saw a little sidebar ad for the superbowl yesterday and realized the worst is yet to come. This week will be unbearable. Fuck

I am not starving, or sleeping in the streets, and have all my limbs. My family and friends can all say same... your favorite football team lost a game. Man the fuck up already.

If it's that bad for you, then don't watch any sports channels this week and don't buy any newspapers.

Yeah, I would go the opposite and say this week is easier than last. He must mean us seeing the Steelers and thinking it should be the Jets, but what can you do? I am more worried about the Jets potential Free Agents than the Super Bowl. Oh and if there will even be a season as scheduled. Plus real life things. :)

Ignore the fact that there is a sport named NFL for 2 weeks. You will feel a lot better that way.

    This too.

It's sweet that we live in a country where life is good enough that people can take weeks out of their life to mourn a football team but get some perspective.

You could be a Jets fan in Egypt who supports Mubarak. If that's the case then how the fuck are you on the internet?

I don't really handle that kind of maintenance. Alfred does.

jesus christ guys chill the fuck out. I was just saying it will be a tough week. I never equate football with real life things. From a football standpoint it will be hard. Given that this is a football forum, where we discuss football things, i expressed that the football fan in me will be upset about the superbowl buildup this week considering we wont be a part of it. I think the fact that you all need to reassure yourselves of the proper perspectives in your own posts highlights the fact that jets and still permeates your everyday life as well, and you deal with it by telling others to man up etc. if you have so much perspective than why the fuck are you on this board right now?

I'm over it. I just look at it like footballs over.I've got absolutely no interest in the SuperBowl. None.

The Capitals play the Penguins on Super Bowl Sunday. I am pumped for that.

    "worst week ever"

I like to read/talk about the Jets. I like to do it every day. I can do that without being an emotional little vagina.

    "worst week ever"

I've often wondered about this. Do you guys honestly not watch the Superbowl if the Jets aren't in it. I guess you never see a Superbowl then!!
