    The Rex factor wins again

  2. If Thurman wanted to go, I don't like denying permission. I'm not crazy about that, but we don't know what the specifics are.

Lol no fucking way does Thurman want to go there, if he did I would forever call him Thurman Murman.
If it wasn't some second rate hack organization I am sure they would have given him permission.

When Mangini was coach, the raiders denied us permission to speak to Rob Ryan who wanted to leave, DC to DC though

    Either that or this:
I can picture coaches turning down the opportunity to work for Al Davis. Easily.

You should be banned for posting false infomation. That is in no way, a human hand.

Al Davis does not look like a human being. Holy fuck he looks bad, there's no way he lives longer than 3 years.

You guys are dicks. Just because he's ancient, senile and palsied doesn't mean he isn't entitled to run his business the way he sees fit. Who the fuck are you all to say this man should give up his life's work. I hope to fuck when I'm leaning on a cart to get around and can't move my fingers I can still know the pleasure of sacking half the staff at a whim. God fucking bless America.

Jackson probably has some pretty good job security here, even if he takes the bump in pay and title the way Oakland has become a revolving door of coaches it's probably in his best interest to stay here. Plus likely losing Aso doesn't really seem like it's be an appealing place to go.

It's really sad. It looks like Nosferatu really can age after all.

Al Davis would just issue fines to him that would lower his pay below here.

Relax, I'm sure there's a spare Raiderette lurking around somewhere; just a wee little nip and I'm sure that Mr. Davis will be just fine.*

Not that it'll ever matter, but I wouldn't work for Al Davis unless he made me some sort of enormous cash payment up front, 'cause you know the job isn't going to last. I like Johnny English's scenario.

*No word on the fate of the Raiderette, though. Say, how constant is their roster these days?

It seems like every coach is owed money after they get canned from Oakland. Why bother with that lack of job security?
