    Why? What's it worth?
Did the Cardinals and Vikings and Colts get some sort of award or prize for losing in the postseason to the eventual Super Bowl champions last season?
Did those three teams get extra draft picks or something?

These clown Steelers fans in this thread? I want to see people like that as bummed out on February 6th as us Jets fans were on January 23.

I really hope Green Bay pisses all over the Steelers.

Why do the Steelers fans waste their time here? If we won the last thing on my mind would be to go troll the Steelers board...very strange...

Trolls never made any sense to me. You go out of your way to register for the site, only to make a couple posts about how the human beings you root for did a better job than the human beings we root for...get flamed for about 10 mins and then banned.

You've got to be quite the loser to get any sort of tangible enjoyment out of that. That includes any Jet fans that trolled patsfans.com or any other forum.

In '05 Though they went through:

    11-5 Bengals
    14-2 Colts
    13-3 Broncos
13-3 Seahawks (although inflated bc the NFC West is 6 free wins)

There is an argument to be made that the Steelers may have lost had they had to play New England or Indy, who knows? They took care of business during the regular season, earned a bye, and beat two very good teams. Give them credit.

That being said I have no love for them and hope they fall hard in 2 weeks.

Wasnt that the year that they ONLY beat the Bengals because they ruined Palmers career on the very first play of the game ?

Im quite sure it was, and they still barely beat the Bengals.

Then of course the refs handed them the superbowl against the hawks.

That shit was handed to them on a platter, they get no respect for it

They also got a lucky break on the Bettis fumble play when Nick Harper chose to take a moronic route to the end zone.

I'll agree with you that the officiating was suspect in Superbowl XL but the Steelers still beat the AFC's 1, 2, and 3 seeds all on the road. Give them props for that.

Only other team to go through a comparably tough road is the '07 Giants.

Quite easy to beat a team when you take their QB out first play of the game with a cheap shot (think he still had like a 57 yard completion on the play)

Jets easily woulda gone to the superbowl last year if we pulled that in the AFCCG

Luck only applies when the Jets do something right. That was a gritty victory by the Steelers man

You mean the year Belichick had his team lay down the last game of the season specifically to avoid the Steelers due to the Pats mediocre play? yea, I'm sure the Steelers were real concerned.

The Pats have been known to struggle with teams that play them more than once a season. It's no real surprise that after playing them for the 3rd time, Ryan figured out how to defense their dink and dunk style on offense with press coverage and a successful scheme that applied pressure on Brady.

this is just how it is, there were seasons the Jaguars beat every team on their schedule and in the playoffs except the titans in 2000, the Colts can beat a lot of teams but consistently have a hard time against the Chargers. Steelers always beat the Chargers, Pats take care of the Steelers.

Man the Steelers were not the best team in the AFC, and I thought we deserved to get in after beating league's two best QBs.

Someday someone needs to take a good look at why this offense can't be elite.
