The franchise and fan base are ready for a SB but the current team wasn't ready.

Need to keep that in mind.

    It will come.

LMAO, something else we totally agree on.

Especially the first line. Well, the second and third, too. HEh.

I've been trying to tell myself that the future is bright and to be happy that we have what we have in place, but the game keeps coming back to me.

What is it with us and missed pass deflections in the AFC Championship game? OBVIOUSLY its not Brodney Pools fault we lost the game... still, Drew Coleman last year, Pool this year... we keep coming so close....

    Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhit!

Please don't compare their jobs w/ our jobs. The point is how quickly they were over the loss and our fans are on here talking about how sick they still are. Maybe we shouldn't care so much?

If I have a bad day at work I don't sulk, I go home and have a drink or go out with my wife, the bottom line is that this is a game, these guy's went to work on Sunday and now it''s over, move on with life.

So you take that as they don't care?

I did the same damn thing, I tried to drink away the game.

I think you're misreading the situation.

The offseason Sucks!!! What the fuck am I going to do with myself until the draft. Then I have to wait until OTAs etc.c.

And thats if there is even a season. I can't even look forward to pitchers and catchers cause the Mets are a fucking disaster and I don't like baseball. The IFL doesn't start until April so no football until then. GAH!

I don't see anything wrong with going out to the bar after losing the game. They probably wanted to get loaded and forget.

I was optimistic after the '98 season after the Jets had lost to the Broncos in the AFCCG.

Then Testaverde ruptured his Achilles Tendon.

I'm sure Dolphins' fans thought Marino would lead them to more Superbowls after they lost.

No team is promised tomorrow...and that is why you have to play every playoff game like it is your last one. The way this team came out on Sunday told me they didn't fully understand this concept.

Let us pray they don't live to regret it.

It's a job that happens to be a game. Just because everyone else is depressed, why do they have to? When I have a bad day, I like to get a drink or 2.

No, he is nyjunc, so he is taking the most illogical, convoluted stance possible and he'll argue it till he fucking dies. Cause that's what he does.

Same here, it's Jet all year for me. I hate baseball and whatever else is a sport.

I think about that 3rd and 6 every 5 minutes it feels like. It shows how confident I am in Mark though, I am positive if we had gotten the ball back we win.

If I am having one of the worst days of my career I'm not out partying until 3 AM. They have plenty of time to party, they didn't need to get off a plane and run out to a club after blowing a chance at the Super Bowl.

I haven't cared for Edwards or Holmes as people, although I like them as players. But Sanchez hasn't been running around town making headlines during the season, at all. They came up short. But they are still Jets, and they emulate Rex Ryan. I wouldn't be surprised if Rex told Braylon to get Sanchez out on the town and get him drunk and laid.

It's not their fault that there are fans that take the game too seriously, as many TGGers do. And as in many arguments, you're wrong again, junc.
