As I lay awake in my bed last night replaying the game in my head over and over my stomach hurt. Was it because I drank too much beer on an empty stomach? Perhaps. Perhaps it was the fact that we have come so close to witnessing something that for most of us have never seen before 2 years running only for it to slip away in an instant. You have to wonder, what now? So many question marks with this team going forward. You've seen the list of our free agents. Unfortunately a lot of these guys won't be back. Who stays? Who goes? What do we do with LT? Can we keep Braylon, Santonio and B. Smith? What kind of money with Harris command? Who can we bring in to help with the pass rush? Who can come in and contribute right away with our draft pick? Will we see a key FA come in and sign to play for Rex like most players have been saying all season. We need a 2nd and 3rd string QB. A new kicker. Who comes in? Etc, etc, etc.... This team was built to win this year. All or nothing. "Super Bowl or bust." Unfortunately it was the latter. Will this team be able to rebound and get itself back to the AFCCG for a 3rd year running? I don't know. I want to say yes but it isn't going to get any easier. Not with the Pats and there 6 first rounders. The Steelers aren't going anywhere. It's going to be very difficult for this team to win the division moving forward. We need a home playoff game. We are road warriors but at some point it would be nice for us to shine on our own field.
I dont know what the average turnover is in starting lineups -- but i see no reason to 100 % revamp. They clearly need a play making LB and safety. I thought the D-Line was very good in the playoffs without sell out blitzes. The middle of that line played well. Of course, I didnt grade every play.

As far as RB goes, I am all for keeping LT on one more year. He's got a bit more juice in the tank, but I really think we need to move the primary running over to Greene. Another year of LT gives one more year for McKnight to hopefully develop into a useful breather back for Greene after LT retires. We need to work on finding a NT to replace Jenkins, unless there is any real shot of him returning. And maybe working on our pass rush. I'm curious to what will happen to Ellis. I know there have been rumors that he's leaving soon. With the potential lock out who knows how things are going to end up. Lot of open ended questions around here.
