JT is done

I do feel bad for him, if only for the sense he had the same goal all of us Jets fans did.

However, he did not give us much more than we we could have gotten from a younger player (not named "Gholston") for significantly less money.

The NFL is a cold-hearted business. I would have loved to have seen JT get to and win a Super Bowl this year, but he didn't show enough this year to make me believe the Jets will have a hard time replacing him with a player of similar performance at a lower price.

 

yeah....Taylor wasn't a difference maker......not a consistent one anyway.


We need to reload with some real pass rushing threats....either through FA or the draft.

 

As a Dolphins fan, the last thing I ever wanted to see was JT in a Jets uniform. He may have underperformed and most Jets fans may hate him/not want him back. One thing is for certain, that guy always gives it his all. That's something I always appreciated him for. Always played hurt and gave full effort every play, every game, every losing season for us. I didn't see the interview but there is no doubt this was crushing to him. He lost for a long time in Miami. To get that close hurts. He's a good man.

 

What if he takes a salary cut?

I'll give him credit for the work he's done with this team but I doubt he returns next season. It was now or never for him with this team. Now we know it's never.

 

Watching his post game speech made me tear up a bit, maybe because I was upset about the loss, but fuck him, he did nothing. He'lll NEVER be a JET.

Get rid of him and Ghost. Please, please draft a pass rushing DE or LB that can actually get to the QB.

Lol he wasn't good today but he sure as shit played well last week.

But people are right, this defense was terrible in the first half and it was all on Taylor........ it had nothing to do with Ellis, Scott, Pouha, Devito, Harris, Pace, Smith, Pool, Thomas, Cromartie etc. etc.

He can be a back up and work out fine. This team isn't even here if he didn't play well when Pace was out.

I am not going to single JT out when the entire defense sucked moose dick in the first half.
