I don't hate them. I'm bitter they have a shot at 3 rings in 7 years, vs. our 0 in too many, but they're just a team. They're not particularly offensive, besides their quarterback, who I don't hate any more or less because of the game. But I rarely hate teams, unlike most fans, so that's just me.
This would probably sound sore loser-ish to a Steelers fan but outside of those 2 conversions on the last drive it really didn't feel like they did anything to win the game, it was just the Jets missing easy tackles and making stupid mistakes. So it's hard to really hate the opposing team after a loss like that where your team looks so awful.
Agreed. No reason to hate the Steelers. At least they realized that you have to play both halves of a championship football game instead of being unprepared, unmotivated, undercoached and flat out outmuscled in the first half. I wish the Jets could put together an entire 60 minute effort when it counts instead of against the Buffalos of the NFL.
I would say i am bitter as well since my wife is from Pittsburgh. Steeler fans (or so called fans) don't understand my passion for the Jets and why Im so pissed off. I think they are spoiled and I hope Green Bay rapes them
Ben killed us. Guy has a broken foot, slammed in the knee, broken knee and the bastard still rushes for a first down. We had them on the ropes but, did not show up in the first half.
So much I can't spell Steelers! (just kidding OP, I'm not one to usually complain about spelling but it's the only joke I have) I really hate them. All day on Facebook I saw Steelers fans from New Jersey who were complaining about bandwagon Jets fans. HELLLOOOOO. You are from New Jersey and root for the Steelers, you are the bandwagon fans assmunch.
I can't hate them. They're the better team. They came to win. They have 8 trips to the Superbowl and we have... one. I can hate that a rapist is rewarded with a trip to the Superbowl. I can hate our defense for looking like Buffalo against Mendenhall. I can hate Schotty's bad play calling. I can hate the Steelers fans who wish they had a Black Hole and could wear Darth Vader helmets. I hate the Dolphins, and I loathe the smug Pats, but the Steelers are a winning organization.
I hate that they were not the best team, and won because of the fucking refs. But I still dont give a shit about the Steelers. They are not rivals, and will only be a concern if we meet them in the playoffs again.
