There's no such as a let down in the afc title game, that's crazy talk. The better team will win Sunday
lmao. Maybe it's a show of how much he loves the team? Like winning any big game is more important to him with the Jets than winning SB43 was with the Stillers since he just loves the Jets so much more than he did playing for the Stillers?? Maybe I'm reaching??????
Nah, I'm with you. Players clearly love being Jets and playing for Rex Ryan. It would seem obvious that a Super Bowl win would trump all others, but sometimes people can't help the way they feel.
I really hope these guys didn't go nuclear on Sunday, because my sports dream has always been a Jets Superbowl win... NOT beating the Patriots in the divisional round of the playoffs.
There is 0% chance that Holmes is going to be complacent against the team that traded him for a ham sandwich.
i think its a jab against the steelers... yaaa enough of this respect bullshit, let the trash talking begin!!
Classic trap game. Jets looking to Super Bowl, forgetting they have to play in AFC title game. I've seen it so many times.
I think a lot of it is living in the moment, which the NFL is all about. Right now the New England game and the one coming up are all that matters, so anything in the past dulls in comparison.
He said it felt better because everyone was doubting them and said they had no chance. Going out and dominating after people said you have no chance was great for the team. You could tell by their celebrating just how much it meant to them.
Upset or not, it is quite a statement to say that a Divisional Round game is more significant than a SuperBowl winning game in which he won the MVP in. This tells me the Pats game made the Jets season. Could cost em :/
