seriously...let us continue being the damn under dog please.

Hopefully Tom Jackson plays some of his mind games again and picks the steelers :)

i haven't heard anyone pick the Jets on the radio or ESPN yet...they all say oh Big Ben has the experience, can handle the defensive pressure, and Troy is back!! Keep doubting!!

We are very much like the 05 Steelers, Sophomore QB, great running game, and a great defense.
It's only fitting that we take out the 05 version of us.

I just hope the players can stay as amped up as they were on Sunday, if so I don't see anyone beating us.

"The Jets are two-thirds of the way through the most treacherous road any team has ever had to travel to get to the Super Bowl: Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger. And they will finish the job against the Steelers with Sanchez becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to win five road playoff games - and he's only in his second season."

    Pretty heady stuff.

I get the Steelers were rooting for the Jets over the Pats so the AFC game would take place in Pittsburgh.

Now the Jets mantra this week should be "Be careful what you wish for".

to win twice in pittsburgh is asking alot. this is going to be a tight one.
if they pull this one off, they are definitely a team of destiny.

Pitt being able to play at home is reason enough they would have hoped the Jets won. I would have, too, if I were them.

Winning twice in Pittsburgh is no more difficult than winning once in Pittsburgh, once you've won the first time. This is the difference between a joint probability (probability of winning in January AND winning in December) and a conditional probability (probability of winning in January GIVEN you won in December). In fact, if anything, winning in December increases the chances of winning in January, since it shows that the team is actually able to win there. This is of course obvious, as all of the pundits who said that Jets couldn't win in Foxboro because they lost there in December would know.

One argument that should NOT be made this week is that winning twice in Pittsburgh is hard, and therefore reduces the chances of the Jets winning.

Jason Taylor has had some big games against the steelers. Hopefully he can continue this trend.

Personally, I would feel a whole hell of a lot better if everyone would keep on believing that we have ZERO chance of beating Pitt or winning a SB. I want our guys angry and focused... not feeling like they can coast. Not that I think they will, but still when everyone is against you it does tend to make you more dangerous.

I'd like to see him having at least one big game as a Jet so I don't feel like he was a total waste.

Any more difficult from winning in Foxboro twice in one year?

absolutely not, i'm just preparing myself for the slugfest that it's gonna be.
Roethlisberger is a slippery weasel back there in the pocket, i hope the jets
can get him on the ground, i would love to see him not extend plays the way he does.
