I'd rather see an idiot held accountable for the stupid shit he writes than read another hundred "OMG Schotty is too cutesy!" or "TEH Jets are missing the playoffs!!1!" posts on the front page.

    But maybe that's just me.

this this and this. I know it will be damn near impossible, but Tanny is probably the ONLY GM in the league that could pull this off

Good thing our message board is akin to the federal government and people need to be "held accountable".

Seriously, what a fucking moronic post.

Holmes didn't do shit the first two or three weeks he played, and he danced and taunted a whole hell of a lot for doing nothing.

    He's been absolutely money since.

Held accountable, give me a fucking break.

I said it all season again tonight, I would welcome Braylon's 15 yd manly catches over Santonio's occasional broken tackle mixed with the terrible drop

Or keep them both? I don't see the point of making it into a rivalry they're a pretty good tandem, best we've had in a while.

NO. Please don't ruin this game, the NFL gets shittier by the year, the only thing that could truly destroy this game is having no salary cap.

The first year the Jets are going to the Superbowl in many of our life times is in a cap free year.

    Just saying.

santanio is a good reciever but his on the field antics bother me alot. theres no need to celebrate after every single first down. if we can only keep two out of him braylon and brad. you have to keep braylon and smith.

He (and nobody else until Shonn Greene put the game away) did any of that today. It's business time.

This whiny shit is the type of thing I cannot stand. Santonio needs to keep playing the way he always does. I don't want to see him change a fucking thing.

thats fine, I just dont want it to persist and ruin the game. As far as I know (this year is uncapped as we speak am I correct? I havent followed all the agreement nonsense) the Raiders have the highest payroll. HAH!

Yes. No cap this year. The deadline for a new agreement is a few weeks after the big game, and a lock out seems likely if you compare the demands of the owners to the players on top of the fact assistant coaches want a union.

This is our chance to be defending champions 2 years in a row. :)

I'm siding with the players, and here's why:

You can make 10x the money throwing a ball over home plate or throwing a ball through a rim 10 feet off the ground. There are no frequent career ending injuries in either sport, and no threat of dropping dead moments after practice. NFL players are the most under paid pros considering what they put their bodies through for our entertainment and their team owners' pockets.

In lay mans terms, enjoy this year, and pick a good college team next year unless the Jets are bringing in replacements. I hope i'm wrong though.
