I was jumping for joy when Harris made the interception and skipped past Brady.....only for my joy to turn to horror as a snail, a tortoise and then finally Old Man Crumpler caught up with him! Brought back memories of the 2005 season when the offense was inept and it felt like the only way we'd score was from defensive picks and that failing to convert a pick usually ended with a FG at best. Never dreamt the Jets would actually dominate New England for most of the game and I thought when Harris was caught and then Folk missed the 30 yarder that it was going to be a long night. Nice to be wrong.
I got nervous. knew we wouldn't score a TD. didn't think we would miss the FG though. that was deflating however after the fake punt i felt really good about this game
I was worried, my dad went right to doom and gloom. His first words were "this is going to be the play that I talk about 10 years from now." We made a deal that if the Jets won he never gets to mention the play ever again. He has held up his end of the bargain so far.
I didn't think we were doomed when Harris got caught, I DID think we were doomed when the offense went backwards on the next two plays and couldn't score a TD from the 12 though lol. Especially since I figured we'd have to get at least mid-20's in points to win.
I called the missed FG, because it just seemed like a fitting end to a complete fail of an offensive series.
I didn't think we were done, but I thought it would come back to bite us. Still can't believe tonight's outcome!!! :jets::jets::jets:
i was angry, mad and nervous...I was pacing around saying to myself...ALGE CRUMPLER the fatass ran down a man on a breakaway INT.
Couldn't have put it better myself. I saw us blow leads in every play off game we lost 2004-2010. Messing up when we didn't have the cushion of a lead just seemed to be a very bad omen
Have you or have you not watched this team come back from deficits several times this season? Do you still not believe in this team's resolve? Even to the extent that you're starting to give up at 0-0 in the first quarter? Shame on you. We have nothing if not belief.
Thank you for giving my answer for me. I can't believe that there are still people who think that the nonsense from 6, 16, or 26 years ago has the slightest relevance now.
I was more in shock that Brady threw in the interception more so than whether or not Harris was going to score.
At the time, I wasn't so concerned until the Jets lost yardage and missed the Fg In reality, I think that int altered the play calling of the Pats for the rest of the half so it had a positive effect
Why the heck would anyone think we were doomed after intercepting Brady for the first in forever? Some people give up too easily.
