Farrior actually signed for LESS than the JETS originally offered after testing FA and not getting what he thought he would........ Randy Thomas was the only blown deal out of that group.
I was thinking of Farrior when he did the Jets chant today. some memories coming back of farrior, abraham, thomas and mckensie (certain letter is broken after spilling water on my laptop
Yes, your oversimplification of the Jets' reasoning in the 1997 draft clearly illustrated the breadth and depth of your knowledge. I'm going to love seeing that Least Knowledgeable Poster Award slapped under your user name. It was an either/or. The only way we were using that #1 pick was if Peyton Manning was available. Otherwise, Parcells was recouping lost draft picks and trying to rebuild. If you're going to blame him for the cap, which you foolishly tried to do, blame him for the rookie cap problems, not the overall ones.
Well that was a horrible performance... So ravens, falcons both lost today... If the theory of things that fly in the air lose....hawks and jets should lose!
These are the same old Falcons right? Oh wait, that's right, only the Jets have losses like these. They are the only franchise to be unlucky and are cursed. Everyone get it now?
Let me say... my household and the rest of Wisconsin was goin NUTS last night. No sober person in the state lol crazy shit. Hope the same happens later today
this game exemplifies why seeds should not be based on division winners but by record. sure, a division winner should get an automatic playoff spot but not a higher seed or home field advantage over a wild card team with a better record, who is being dropped simply because the wild card winner played in a division with a team better than both. in this case, the Falcons were penalized, so to speak, for being the number 1 seed by having to face a really good Packers team rather than the Seahawks simply because the Seahawks won a bad division.
