Why stop there? Why not have a luxury box waitstaff of Mangini, Edwards, Kotite, Coslett, Walton, and Michaels (I just don't see Parcells and Groh working for tips). I'd buy a ticket.
I'm sure he'll get hired somewhere as a defensive coordinator or at least a DB coach, but not on the Jets, we have 0 need for his type of coaching.
I would not be surprised they are best friends with mr. T... His decision to fired mangina was the toughest decision he ever made in his life...
Mangini should become a consultant for NFL teams on how to beat the Patriots. He'd probably make some good money.
Lol.off topic mangini was on NFL live with herm.to watch those two give their opinions was hilarious.it was like watching Ben stein give a lecture followed by a southern baptist preacher give the fire and brimstone sermon.
Assuming he wants to get back into coaching he would most likely have to. He was 23-25 as Jets head coach with 1 playoff appearence and his tenure with us ended with an awful collapse in 2008 and then he went 5-11 twice with the Browns in 2 seasons as Head Coach there. The guy is really in no posistion to be of the mind set that he wont accept anything less then a head coaching job in the NFL. He's most likely going to need to be a coordinator again before he gets another head coaching oppurtunity. As far as getting a coaching job with the Jets I heard he and Mr. T still have a good relationship and he has a good relationship with the Jets as well but I doubt he comes back.
I don't like Mangini, but I guess I'm kind of tired of every blaming him for Gholston but not giving him any credit for Revis, Keller, Harris, Leon, Brad Smith, etc. I find it hard to believe that Mangini's only pick was Vernon, and that he had nothing to do with any of the other picks. With that said, no I don't want him near the Jets ever again.
On a side note, I couldn't stop laughing when I saw Herm and Eric sitting next to each other in the ESPN studio spewing out garbage from their mouths.
