It is good to see that the Jets do not take the ass whooping they received by the pats lightly. I like the fire and if it does translate on the field with hard play and a "this team will not do the same thing ever again" attitude this team should be fine. The pats are fired up for this game and want to stick it to the Jets again. This is going to be an epic game on Sunday. Play hard and you can win it Jets. Come out soft and flat and you will get crushed by a hungry team who has not played in a SB since the epic collapse against the Giants. Fucking take this personal don't let the pats do as they wish. Get fucking mean and show those mother fuckers that you have pride and will not be a fucking whipping boy for anybody. Even with all the shit talking the pressure is still rest on the shoulders of the pats.

HUH? Remember pre 2001? Struggles:rofl: The point of a stuggle is to achieve your primary goal. A lot of us DO remember all too well. Now, nobody likes it. Jealousy, envy..? All I know is most honest lovers of the game would love to have a team like the Pats have this year (not to dismiss the awesome season the Jets have had), just like I would have loved to have had a season like the Saints did last year. It's all great players in different uniforms. A great team is a great team. And sunday the great team aint goin' home.

I think a lot of times you learn more from a big loss than a big win.

I just hope the Jets learned a huge lesson from the last time they played the pats. I see your location is right int he thick of it.

Actually, I'm pretty much in the desert too. Just changed the location for this week.

  7. There weren't Pats fans before 2001. Just Sox fans needing some way to kill their Sundays until pitchers and catchers report.

Revis might strand opposing receivers on Revis Island, but Cromartie is more like an EZPass on the Jersey Turnpike.

Brady turns down most sponsor stuff. Sanchez shills for twice as many sponsors. He does the uggie thing and Underarmor (which he only did because he was able to buy some ownership). Not like Manning who shills for every company in the US.

First of all, according to Rex, Manning did it all by himself:wink:. But seriously, the Jets are by far treated well by the media. I think a lot of the negative media comes from the over the top rhetoric. When you talk big, the media expects results. You cant talk what you cant deliver. If the Jets win Sun, no problem. But if they lose, that check may have insufficent funds. Any given sunday can come any day. Either way, may the best team win. If you guys do, congrats to ya!

Tough to top Walsh. But he's better than Parcells. Has a much better record, more SBs and Parcells was way less successful when he didn't have Belichik as his DC.

Yup. He thinks he is better than he is, and instad of doing what Revis does, he jams no one at the line, and then gets beat, which leads to problems because he doesn't like to tackle.

Seen him play three games this year and look like crap in all of them. And now he's running his mouth. What an idiot.

this is who we are and it got us this far, you cant change a tiger's stripes. And its coming from a guy (Cromartie) who has a dozen kids; he never learned from the first 6 kids that he could put on a rubber, so what makes you think hes smart enough to shut up?

Yeah, Cro is definitely not the brightest guy out there. The problem is that if Brady targets him, he has to back up his talk, and that might be hard for him to do.

I will say this though, if he plays well this week, he goes from a 4-6 mil a year deal to a 7-10 mil a year deal. So, it will be a win win for both the Jets and him if he steps up - he will be able to pay for his mistakes, and the Jets will be able to spend an extra mil or two and try to get NA.

Revis and Pool were interviewed today and neither saw brady pointing at the Jets or talking shit. Not a good thing for Cro when his teammates don't back him up.

I think he's a one and done in NY. He's really not Rex's kind of player, other than the talking shit part. Rex likes tough players who fly around and hit.

I think Cro still has the hate he shares with LT for the Pats pissing on their parade so often.

I kind of hope Cro is one and done. He's got talent as much as anyone, but he's just not physical enough.

It doesn't really matter to me- but here's possibly a more accurate story about endorsements. I wouldn't mind seeing Sanchez or someone else have more endorsements- sick of seeing Manning's head on my TV.

When are we gonna start seeing those Ugg Ads with TB?

    That's the real important question.
