What, because he was struggling to put a roof over his family's head without that sponsorship deal? The man (I use that term advisedly) clearly has no self respect. If you offered him enough money he'd advertise mankinis and make-up. He's a big fucking poofter.
you think he's better than Walsh and Parcells? I think those two revolutionized the game more than beli.
I don't give two fux about favored. I'm not a bookie, and don't bet on games. I don't even predict games. I'm not prescient. I figured that out a long time ago. It's not fantasy football. You win on the points you score in the game, not stats. Here's another clue. The Pats were favored in all their playoff losses and SB loss too. Did you watch the Pats and Giants SB?
Bellicheck couldn't carry Walsh's jockstrap. Walsh re-invented the game that everyone else is playing now.
Walsh is a descendant of Brown. Beli is on the Parcells tree. But the Acorn has grown Mightier than the oak that spawned it. It's really a question of Raw intelligence versus Functional intelligence. Walsh had the former, Parcells the latter. Beli has an abundance of both. He easily translates his economics background into an NFL efficiency,,
Of course it's won on the field. I already said the past doesn't guarantee the future but it does give a clue to it. Otherwise all we are going on is what, gut feelings? Blind faith? look it, i'm hoping the Pats win. I think they will but i won't guarantee they will because of what you point out, which is by the way a historical statistic.
That's ridiculous. Belichick is the only head coach in the NFL with four 14-win seasons and he did it in the free agency era. I am not saying he is better than Walsh but to suggest that he is not his equal or near equal is preposterous.
You are out of you're mind. Did the NFL at he behest of Bill Walsh's opponents CHANGE THE F*NG RULES..to suit someone else, and then have that person EVOLVE to win more titles? (Oh..and P.S. Bill Walsh, genius that he was, was not revolutionary...he took Paul Browns ideas a step further...without Rules Committee interference)
well, now, thats pretty strong there cowboy. Walsh revolutionized the game with the WC offense, and won a shit load with a great QB. Bellicheck has been good for at least 11 wins a season for a decade in the salary cap era, again with a great QB. Not apples to apples, but you can't say one is head and shoulders better than the other. Bellicheck could clearly hold Walsh's jock. He held Parcells for long enough. Speaking of which, lets not forget how successful that fat prick was WITHOUT a great QB. One SB with Simms (okay, but he's no Montana), one with (holy shit) Hostetler, almost one with (jesus fucking christ already) Bledsoe, and within sneezing distance with Testaverde (incomprehensible).
Desperate for a winner? Celtics have 17 banners, Red sox have won 2 w.s since 2004, bruins have a decent team, and the Pats have 3 SB trophies. Yeah we are desperate for a winner. And so is every team in professional sports. Aren't you desperate for the Jets to win the SB?
And I of Jets fans that refuse to see the obvious... Today....Right Now... Beli > Walsh. Brady > Joe Mo. The numbers speak for themselves. If you're a Jets Fan, Hate them. But like a rattler in your garden...respect them. Then Kill them.
My god man, this is nothing. Those of us that live in the new world have to listen to this nonsense from the random man on the street all the time. It takes a lot of discipline.
