Let me preface by saying I'm not a rah rah football fan who thinks that we will win every game. If anything I'm more objective and pessimistic or I say nothing at all. I just have a weird feeling that they're going to knock off the invincible Patriots. I don't know if it means they go to the Super Bowl. I don't know what it means. I just have a feeling that the Jets go into New England given small odds by all the experts and find a way to win a nip-tuck ballgame something like 13-9 or 14-10. I think it's going to be close as Hell and they're going to out for blood. The Indy win was a big one. It really was. I didn't like our match up against them on either side of the ball. We've really got a shot now to do some surprising and damaging things to everyone else in this tournament. We're going to go into New England and win this coming sunday. Last game of next weekend and it's the crown jewel.

Didn't think we would beat the Colts. Just didn't think it. I ate a lot of crow, happily. I think we match up better against the Patriots. And I think that they're going to win on Sunday to make it an outstanding weekend for all of us. We're playing with house money now. It's a dangerous thing. The Colts dline is half the size of the apes on the Pats dline....it will be a tough task for Mangold and Co. Do i think they can do it? certainly. But I don't believe the matchup is more favorable than the Colts.
We do not match up better with the Patriots then the Colts. Our offense on their defense sure, we should be able to move the ball on them but we need to score points which we did not do in the second meeting. How on Earth do you think we match up well with the Patriots offense?? We struggle when teams split us out wide...all the Patriots do is split their guys out wide.

Why would you be afraid of your matchup with Indy? They were one of the weaker teams in the playoffs, they can't run, they can't stop the run, and they are bad on defense. If anything, the Jets should have one the game more convincingly.
How do the Jets match up better against a healthy Pats offense than against the Colts throwing to a bunch of undrafted rookies they inserted halfway through the season?
