They barely beat the Titans (2x), Jags and Raiders with Peyton playing like Peyton. The Jets should be able to beat the Colts if those 3 teams almost beat them. The only things that can hurt the Jets are Brian Schottenheimer (obviously), and a bad defensive gameplan.
Who gives a fuck who these guys think will win? The only ones that can decide that, are on the field.
You do know the Titans and Jags are division games and are both better than the Bills and equal to if not better than the Dolphins. You are aware your team lost to the Dolphins and barely beat them too. My point is divisional games are normally tougher games. I could call out your team barely beat the Texans and gave up quite a few points. Looking at our teams stats for the entire year, this should be a good game as long as the Jets run the ball effectively. Even if Peyton throws multiple picks, the Colts have shown to still put up a lot of points. See the Dallas and Patriots game. Not to mention the season low in points for the Colts was 14 points...
It was poor play calling and ball handling that we lost to the dolphins. That was in the pouring rain, your dome doesn't have rain:wink:
So we just forget about beating Pitt in their house? WHat is this, Guntcessa type of thinking, and ftr THAT WAS 4 WEEKS AGO

I try not to get excited about ESPN anything, but there is a different feel going into this game than last year, more positive that the jets are clearly a better team right now than the colts.
Well today i woke up to my cat playing with his green mouse toy and the blue one was all torn up. This can only mean that the Jets are going to win. ok maybe i tore the blue one up
Both the Jets and the Colts have been inconsistent enough to wonder which teams will show up. I don't think either team is clearly superior. This game and Philly/Green Bay should be the best games of the weekend.
Be happy. Everyone on NFL network took the Dolts except Marshall Faulk. And since he's typically a Jets detractor, I like what he has to say.
The notion that division games mean the same for every team is ridiculous. You think the Chiefs are 10-6 if they did not get 6 games against their awful division (not to mention 4 games against the NFC West and 2 against 3rd place teams from last year)? The fact is that everyone is praising the Colts for winning 4 straight, but they did so against bad teams. The Jags are a bad team. The Titans are a bad team. And the Raiders are a bad team. And, it is much tougher to beat the Dolphins than any team in the AFC South or West (or as I like to call it, 5/8 of the Colts schedule). So, while the Colts are at home, and have Peyton, I dont think they are as good as the Jets, and logically should not be picked to win. But dont worry, Brian Schottenheimer (and his favorite player, Nick Folk, will keep you guys in the game and give you a chance to win).
Its not rocket science. Jets are a better team on paper, by far. They have every tool to beat Indy today and they will.
You guys should be the favorite. I expect the Colts to lose tonight and have prepared myself emotionally for it. My beloved Colts are not at full strength so it won't be much of a game. Good luck the rest of the way in the playoffs...and please smash the Pats!!
They all picked the Pats in the 2nd game we played against them this year except for 1 guy and we saw how that turned out. Hopefully they're right again.
As the Seahawks are showing, no team's fans should expect their team to lose. Whatever happens though, I just want someone to beat the Pats, whether it is the Jets, Colts, Steelers, Ravens or Chiefs. There will be nothing worse than watching the hooded stooge and the guy Gisele comes home to win another superbowl.
