If Tamme has hands like Pittsburgh's backup TE it will go well for us. The big thing that the guy said is even though he reproduced Clark's stats, he doesn't have the same effect. I remember when Wes Welker first went down and Julian Edelman replaced him, Edelman had a big game to the tune of 8 catches and around 100 yards against us, but the impact of those catches were almost insignificant in the sense that they didn't burn us or cost us the game the way Welker's would have. I think it will be a very similar situation with Tamme.
If they have to sell out to stop one or the other, I want to see more draw plays, and play action. They've been effective since Schotty added draws to the offensive scheme. It took him almost an entire year to do it.
Tamme has good hands and is able to get open consistenly. He doesn't drop many. What he was refering to was Tamme lacks Clark's deep speed. Tamme can leave LB's behind, but he can't leave safeties and corners behind like Clark can.
