Cue Dolphag fans going from "WE WANT SPURANOZE OUTIE FIVE THOUSAND" to "OMG HES ONE OF THE BEST COACHEZ IN THE LEEGZ RYANS GOT NUFFIN ON HIM" now.... The one Dolphag fan I know talks like hes from the ghetto with taffy in his mouth, so I assume that's how they all speak.
One of the best possible scenarios for Jets fans. If only Henning would have stuck around, it would have been even better. More of this on meaningless field goals:
Sporano really didn't do anything to deserve this kind of shabby treatment by the Dolphins. It's not like he's a terrible head coach. The team would have made some noise if not for vagina-head.
Nice clusterfuck they have going on down there. The owner dangling sparano over a ledge, the players all calling out henne, sticky ricky calling out the coach. I'm sure the fins fans will find a way to spin this into a good thing.
I agree, Tony Sparano has zero credibility in the locker room at this point. For them to keep him at this point after the circus they created with Harbaugh, the players are just gonna look at him and know even the owner doesn't fully believe he is the best person for the job.
I remember one of the Jets/Mia games this year - they panned to Ross and he was sitting there eating a bowl of oatmeal. That was some funny shit, I laughed for a while.
This is like taking your girlfriend out to a club, leaving her at the bar, coming back four hours later after trying and failing to hit every skank in the place, and going "so you ready to go home and bang?" God bless the Fish. You are the gift that keeps on giving. http://www.wqam.com/streamer/index.php?displaystreamer=true For those of you who want to hear some high comedy.
http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/24459/dolphins-front-office-draws-mass-rebuke A collection of Twitter reaction to news that the Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross had abandoned his pursuit of Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh and would keep Tony Sparano: Brian Hartline, Dolphins receiver: "Thank god!" Dave Hyde, South Florida Sun-Sentinel columnist: "This loud, public, futile coaching search tops Jacksonville 62, Dolphins 7 as most embarrassing day in Dolphins history." Judy Battista, New York Times reporter: "What an embarrassing display by Ross, Ireland and Harbaugh. Awful way to do business by all three. Good luck with this farce, Sparano." Ray Ratto, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area columnist: "Tell the fans that this is why so many players do drugs. They have to see these people every single day." Eric Stangel, "The Late Show with David Letterman" lead writer: "How is it that the Jersey Shore cast has shown better people skills than Miami Dolphins management?" Hyde again: "They put a wrecking ball right through the off-season. Will be interesting to see what kind of an offensive coordinator comes now." Albert Breer, NFL Network reporter: "Maybe I'm wrong, but I think Tony Sparano got himself a lot of fans the last four days. Plenty of NFL folks rooting for him." Mike Freeman, CBSSports.com columnist: "The only winner in the Dolphins/Harbaugh fiasco: Tony Sparano. He kept his dignity." David J. Neal, Miami Herald reporter: "How emasculated is Dolphins' Ross? Threw his best mack daddy rap w/sugar daddy $$$ and still have to slink back to what's waiting at home." Bart Hubbuch, New York Post reporter: "Man, the Dolphins are one seriously dysfunctional organization. Jets fans should be thankful a Steve Ross-owned team is in their division." Jim Trotter, Sports Illustrated writer: "ross gets heat for pursuing harbaugh w/o firing sparano. what about harbaugh interviewing w/ team that still has a coach?"
Bahahahahahah. If I'm Sparano, I give my resignation speech in the preseason wk 4 postgame. Indianapolis delenda est.
