Good, as long as they don't get Cowher they can struggle until 2050 for all I care. Not that I think Cowher is as great as advertised but I think having them challenge us for a playoff spot every year I could do without.
I wish I was still living there just to hear all the radio blather in the morning. Maybe I'll go on the 790 website just to listen in.
Bill Cowher already snubbed them. He'd be a huge upgrade over Sparano, but how hard can that be? I think he'll end up coaching the Cleveland Browns or New York Giants eventually.
Called it. Don't worry we will go middle of the pack 6-10/7-9 and suck again. No more $7k club seats for me. I'm done. And to think that motherfucker wants public money for his useless half roof...LOL.
I always thought Carolina but I guess he's not interested in that job. Imagine how good that division would be if he went to the Panthers?
wow that must be an awkward situation. even sparano can see he was about to be fired. all of it is great. http://www.finheaven.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?2-Miami-Dolphins
I don't believe in Tampa Bay. If they do it again against better competition, I'll change my mind. Their Week 17 win against New Orleans was impressive, but the Saints are beat up. Other than that, they didn't beat anybody that matters. Matt Ryan and the Falcons are going to own that division for the next decade. That team is very young and it has a lot of talent. Carolina has a LONG way to go. New Orleans will always be a dangerous team with Drew Brees slinging the ball around. I think they'll contend for a NFC Wild Card spot until he decides to retire.
I hear ya on Tampa but I like the young nucleas they have. I like Freeman and Blount looks like he could be a steal for them. He certainly has made some exciting plays but obviously they did have a weak schedule.
I like Little Mike Williams and LeGarrette Blount. I'm not sold on Josh Freeman yet. I want to see him beat somebody that matters. He struggled against Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta. Next year, he plays against Indy, Chicago, Atlanta x2, New Orleans x2, and Green Bay. Those are some tough opponents. Freeman put up decent numbers in college, but he wasn't a winner. If he does well with that schedule, I'll admit that I was wrong on him. I'm gonna stick to my guns on this kid for now.
I know it's easy to say this from my dorm room, but if I were Tony Sparano I'd seriously consider walking away from the Dolphins. They couldn't have made it more clear that he's not wanted, and the fact that Parcells is consulting with owners all around the league makes me think that he'd be able to find another Head Coaching job within the next couple of years. He's not Vince Lombardi or anything, but I'd rather have Sparano than McDaniels, Mularkey, Fewell, or most of the other names circulating right now.
Wasn't UConn very interested in Tony? That would probably be his ideal landing zone. Ross has to be fucking batshit crazy if he thinks he can bring back Tony and expect people to believe the company line. Tony isn't even the best coach on the Dolphins, Mike Nolan is. With that aside, you just can't bring a guy back who you were a classless douchebag to and expect anyone but the most delusional homers to buy into your gameplan.
Lmao they publicly castrate their coach and make him look like a fool. They don't get the guy they wooed and now they are keeping a eunich...... I smell 6-10 next year.
