Ryan keeps talking

I'm used to it, but I do wish he'd shut the hell up once in a while.

First of all, he doesn't say it in every press conference. Second, Joe Benigno is one of the most pathetic Jets fans I've ever heard, he revels in his role as the miserable, sad sack Jets fan. He's like a pre 2004 Red sox fan.

Rex never guaranteed a super bowl, only that he expects to win and that he believes in his team. The media makes it seem like Rex says these shocking, astounding things. And I'd love someone to explain to me how what Rex says in a press conference has anything to do whatsoever with his focus or game planning. It's the most ridiculous correlation ever suggested, that because someone says something to the media that their focus is somehow lessened because of it.

 

"I want to put the shoe on the other foot. I know this team does, too. We want him to experience it this time."

 

someone tell fatty to relax and feast on some toes to keep his strength up. they'll be plenty of time for talking when the dealing's done.

 

This is nothing new.

 

I find people bitching about Rex more offensive than what is actually being said by him.

Rex is the fukin man, I love having him as a coach and am proud to have a coach with some fukin COJONES!

What is he supposed to say we going to lose? You better get use to rex ryan because he is going to be around here for a long time....

 

How can anyone have a problem with this. He said he wants to win and wants them to lose!! Is this breaking news!! Everything Rex says these days is twisted.

This is who Rex is. This is his genuine personality.

You don't like him talking? Tough. It's going to happen every year.

If he has a down year and they go 6-10, he'll say something about the team struggling but we are still going to go out there and give everything we have and we'll see what happens.

 

If the Colts need what Rex says to the media to motivate them - then we're gonna win. Hands down. That's just the way it is.

I'd pay good money to see Herm's Monday press conference when the Jets squeaked into the playoffs, and he waved around the letter sent by the league office to prove we actually made it.

"Got a letter right here. From the NFL. Park Avenue. New York. Got a stamp on it and everything. Says the Jets are in the playoffs."

I miss that man on non-game days.

Dungy rode peytons coattails. Without him he's a mediocre coach who's long forgotten.

 

Don't really understand how any team is gonna get extra motivation for a playoff game, if you're not fired up for a playoff game something is really wrong.
