damn right this team was built for this. how many ringless veterans do we have who came with us just for this.
Damn fucking right Mr. E. Believe it or not, the way we just beat the piss out of the bills with our scrubs will get our confidence jacked nearly as high as when we beat the piss out of Cincy last year. Indy may still have Manning, but they are missing 3/4 of their weapons. Their defense is missing key starters at every level. Manning is a master of identifying defenses, but even when he knows whats coming he hasn't been able to take advantage when it mattered this season. We can do this, fuck the Colts. Indianapolis Delanda Est
wired as hell, love the playoffs, can't wait for this game... and I want to hear it again: three home teams advance ...and the fucking Jets!
Hes great at identifying defense which is true which is why I think its great that we play them round 1. We all know Rex has some change ups in his D schemes that he is bringing out in the playoffs. This way there is no film on it for Manning to study.
This year we have two healthy corners and none are named Lito Sheppard. I'm more than willing to take on Manning and the Colts. Now, will Kyle Wilson please step up and become accountable for his draft position. Colts receivers are a downgrade from last season so plus to us. Now we need a nice day from the running game and Mark Sanchez to defeat this Achilles heel named Manning.
Thats exactly what I've been saying. Im so much more excited to see the Jets play Indy than KC. Why? Because its tougher, the stakes are higher, but the reward, though it may be intangible (a win against kc renders same results) is bigger. I also feel pretty confident while still keeping my Jets mentality of preparing for the worst. We can pick up some serious momentum if we win this game. Plus the tougher the game the more exciting it is, i've never been one to take the easy road out. Perhaps that is why I am a Jets fan.
Bill Parcells said it best: you are exactly what your record says you are. There are 4 teams in the entire NFL who have more wins than the Jets. Only 4. There is no reason to believe that we can't beat any team in the league.
I don't like the Colts' defensive speed on turf. I do like Shonn Greene hammering the shit out of speed.
And of the three in the AFC, the Jets beat two and lost by one point to the other. Anything can happen, though it will certainly be tough.
I'm scared shitless of Wayne Hunter being called on to block Mathis or Freeney. They both can change the game on one play. Other then that? Nothing about the Colts besides number 18 scares me. If anything I think playing in the dome is going to help LT and the running game. Need to keep Greene involved early and often.
Run, run, run right at em. Run some more and run it again. Jets are very capable of winning every game they play. We all know this. Peyton is gonna force some balls and throw a pick or two. Jets need to take advantage.
QFT I stated that in another thread. LT in the dome is a good thing. I am hearing & reading about how fantastic Hunter is. Maybe this will be his chance to prove it if Woody can't go.
I feel really good about beating the Colts this season. This is what we were built for! I'm so excited!
I've been in the camp of "we don't belong in the postseason". But after watching some of these other playoff teams, I don't think we're any more flawed than they are. I think we're perfectly capable of beating the Colts this year and this is the 1st round matchup that I was hoping for. Quite honestly, I'm not sure who in the AFC is capable of beating the Pats in NE. They look just plain unbeatable lately. If the Jets get past Indy, it will take a masterful gameplan to win that game.
