Yeah my life is so pathetic that my happiness is tied to the success of my team and if somebody has a different opinion I just say "you don't know football" over and over again until I convince myself of it
arguable...but not in the way that you are doing it no not my intent... as I have made clear 100 times no I am trying to discuss a player without the bias of being his fan, which is OH YEAH... the whole point of this fucking thread
^ I can always count on you Cakes. *I also have Kyle Orton on that list and he's completely fallen off in less than a month. This is a week-to-week league.
Well, he didn't fall off inasmuch as he got benched because the team wanted the 1st round draft pick to close out what is a lost season. Unless you meant "completely fallen off" as in completely fell off your list. Orton could wind up in Arizona or Minnesota next season and still be a decent starter. He'll never be an elite QB, but he could be an average starter who might make a few playoff appearances down the road.
A little bit of both. Denver really had no choice. Kyle Orton had an awful game against Kansas City and he was McDaniel's guy. It couldn't be more obvious that the rest of front office and the owner wanted Tim Tebow in at quarterback. I could see him signing with San Francisco depending on who they hire as a head coach. Minnesota makes sense too. Donovan McNabb will more than likely end up in Arizona.
If you got the Josh Freemans pubes out of your eyes, you see the point. Hackett was a very good playcaller at times (ummmm 2002 anyone) that refused to eliminate his mistakes, and adapt to his QB's weaknesses. (Throws outside the numbers for instance). Sanchez has performed brilliantly given Schottys calling. In the last two weeks as Schotty has grown, Sanchez has played better. On point. Cotchery cost the Green bay game with drops, and Holmes drop in the EZ vs. Miami lost that game, and Keller's drop in the EZ was the difference (as well as the defense fail) against Chicago that makes Sanchez 13-2 in his Sophomore year on his own. No matter how you slice it..thats better than pretty fucking good...and that's with abysmal playcalling... (like asking him to go down the field with Hartsock, Richardson and a RB on the field and no play fake) I re watch every game snap for snap, you're delusional. RIght now the list ahead of Sanchez reads... Brady. Manning, Peyton Brees. Maybe Mike Vick. Thats it. He's beaten Rivers, in a playoff game, Matt Slaub, twice. Rodgers put up 6 points in a game NY should have won.
Sorry dude but no way Sanchez is better than Rivers or Rodgers. If he was more consistent it could be argued.
Rivers fellow kicker missed 3 FGs in a 3-pt game. Don't argue "ifs" and "should haves" only when they suit you. How many points did Sanchez put up in that game against the packers? Matt Ryan currently owns the #1 seed in the NFC and has stats that make Sanchez look abysmal. Flacco has a better record this year, won the head-to-head matchup, and also has stats that dominate Sanchez's. Cutler recently outperformed Sanchez, has a better record this season, and looks better in just about every statistic. Your logic is full of inconsistencies and favoritism... do you care to continue this argument?
Rivers' fellow throwing arm threw two interceptions. Mark Sanchez outperformed Philip Rivers in the 2009 playoffs. There's absolutely no way anyone can say Sanchez is a better passer though.
I think he's average. He needs to have some sort of running game to play well. But he's only in his second year, so there's still a lot of room for him to get better What worries me tho is his accuracy. I'm not as asking for Chad Pennington like accuracy. I just wish he could complete more than 55% of his completions. I know he has been hurt by receivers dropping passes, but there have also been throws in every game, that any decent NFL QB should complete, that he doesn't
