Its like playing with imaginary numbers.

Like the square root of -3.

He probably leads the NFL in dropped TDs as well.

How about interceptions that happened as a result of the ball being ripped out of his receivers hands? He probably leads in that as well.

Hey, let me add to this awesome statline!

The Jets lead the league in 'almost-lost' games! That's terrible! Take away like 4 of those wins and we're not even the second best team in the divison!

Hell! Add to that that the Bills lead the league in 'almost-won' games and we're IN THE BASEMENT OF THE AFCE!!

One of I think the most underrated factors of wide receiver are there ability to play defense. I think the Jet receivers especially Braylon do a great job of that. I'm not saying that to bash Sanchez, I'm just saying its important that a receiver knows when the DB has a better chance at the ball then he does and they make the effort to knock it away.

It helps when you play the Dolphins twice...we lead the league by far in dropped INTs...

our useless DBs need to learn to catch the damn ball...

They obviously don't, since he had two against Green Bay that were ripped out of the receiver's hands after they were down, which I'm pretty sure is what mj2 was referring to.

The real point is that this sort of imaginary hypothetical statistics is completely subjective and ultimately moronic. As abyzmul said, it's all part of some people's need to ignore what actually happens if it doesn't align with their impressions and biases. Is the next step "adjusting" a player's rushing yardage on the basis of the holes he could have run through but didn't, or on the basis of the yards he only got because someone missed a tackle? What garbage.

How about interceptions due to inept playcalling?

Well those weren't tipped, they were just fake INT's.

This obviously means Sanchez has the greatest arm strength in the league. He throws his passes so hard, opposing defenses are unable to catch them.
