We are a more complete offense, our "D" needs a spark, but, we have two shut down corners, and we need to work on the basics, ravens eliminate the colts and the pats we face them in AFC champ game, is all up for grabs.......

Give me Revis, Deion Sanders, Darrell Green, and Ronnie Lott and with this pass rush they still won't look good.

The D doesn't need a spark its injured and has no pass rushers.

And this team is less prepared due to the countless mistakes. One phase of the game doesn't seem to show up every week, and when all 3 finally do they win.

Last year the Jets snuck up on every one. This year no one is going to be surprised. This thread is foolish thinking.

This team is prepared to win the WC and get demolished in the divisional round.

I disagree based solely on the fact that KC/Pats >> CIN/SD

Kansas City isn't better than Cincinnati was last year.

...but New England is the best team in the NFL.

If we can play three games with all cylinders firing, we get to the Superbowl, four games and we win it. Yes New England will be a challenge but I think the 45-3 annhilation fresh in our heads will spark us to victory!! We are certainly more talented than last year it just comes down to putting it together which we did last year for two and a half playof games.

meh - the '09 Jets had a better overall defense and running attack. The '10 Jets have a better passing attack.

We're worse at CB after CB#2, far worse at safety, worse at pressuring the QB and aren't as dominant running the ball. Last years team was far more prepared to make a deep run in January than this years team even though we have a more experienced QB and a legit passing attack now.

Sorry, unless there's some magic pass rush about to show up, we won't make it past the divisional round. I wouldn't be surprised if we were one and done.

I wouldn't be surprised if you eat these words down the road.

What's Matt Cassel going to do when Darrelle Revis takes Dwayne Bowe out of the game? Nothing.

I understand that he put up very good numbers, but look at the competition he's faced.

Offensively w/o a doubt we are better prepared for a deep run BUT on D we are far worse and our K is unreliable. If our D can even be decent I think we can make a deep run but I do not have much confidence in the D at this point.

I saw where somebody compared Kansas City's 2010 offense to New England's offense back when they were winning Super Bowls a few years ago.

I thought to myself: you have got to be fucking kidding me.

This is not a valid argument.

Jay Feely was not reliable in the playoffs last year.

Feely missed one makeable kick in postseason. Folk has bounced back but I am still nervous every time the guy kicks a PAT. We were in much better shape PK wise a year ago.

    That doesn't matter, junc.

I'll agree that Feely was better in 2009's regular season than Nick Folk's been in 2010's regular season. That couldn't be more obvious.

...so what if Jay Feely was reliable in the regular season last year. He missed multiple kicks in the playoffs. You can't leave points on the field when you're playing against Peyton Manning.

I know Nick Folk has been shaky, but saying we had a reliable kicker in the playoffs is false.

I didn't say we would lose, I said I wouldn't be surprised if we did. And it's not because I think KC is some great team. We lost to the lowly Dolphins recently and outside of the Buffalo (maybe cinci) haven't really dominated anyone.

So even if we win @KC I'm not sure what words I'd have to eat. Obviously I want us to win.
