Yep. Charles 92 yds 8.4 avg 1 rushing TD 1 receiving TD
    Chargers #1 on defense

The second Chargers game is not statistically significant.

LOL, yeah 31-0 should be forgotten as quick as possible.

That game was a total of 48 rushing yards. After some good film study I'm sure.

What I mean is, when your QB is on the operating table having an organ removed it makes it pretty hard to win a game. Especially with no backup QB.

So yeah, it is useless statistically.

Ahh your right I forgot about them. We have a better run defense, idc what the stats say. If we had gotten to play the NFC west this year I can guarentee you are stats would look amazing like theirs. I mean they had the #1 defense and #2 offense and miss the playoffs? how is that even possible.

Should we throw out the first game too since the Chargers were ass for the first 6-8 weeks of the season? Nah, let's just throw out the game when they were playing well.

I'm wondering, has anyone looked at Matt Cassel's stats since the first Denver game?

    6 games
    109 QB Rating
    62% Completion Percentage
    264 Yards per game
    7.8 Yards per attempt
    15 TD
    1 INT

    Just throwing that out there.

Two words- Nork Turnover, i mean Norv Turner. i live about 45 minutes north of San Diego, I battle Charger fans everyday in the office, etc.
He is not a good head coach whatsoever. Granted, he's not on the field making plays, but they need to make a change down there. Alot of Charger fans can't take him anymore.

What does Matt Cassel have to do with the chargers dropping 31 points on KC? Their first meeting the chiefs scored 21 and i think 7 of those were special teams.

    You aren't serious right?

If anything you should've been able to rely more on the run, that doesn't excuse the defensive part either.

We lost the QB of our defensive 2 days before our 45-3 loss to the Pats. Can we strike that from that stats?

C'mon man, you really think looking at the game after your QB just had emergency surgery is going to give you reliable stats?

    No.

I think you all underestimate how bad Brodie Croyle sucks lol.

Yes, Cassel is critical to this team. I don't see us beating anybody without him.

With the leagues number rushing attack that is strange to hear, IMO.

We were that team last year, I guess having the number 1 D to go along with it helped a lot.

KC has the 28th ranked passing offense, how could you be so reliant on that?

We know Cassel first hand. He tied the game 31-31 with 1 second left with a TD back in the day in New England. (We won in OT tho =p)

Matt Cassel is going to shred that Jets secondary. The Chiefs remind me a lot of the Patriot teams of the early 2000's..the ones that won. If the Jets do play them in the first round, it will be a very tough game for the Jets to win on the road..

Points or yards? Chiefs are tied for 9th in fewest points surrendered. I know which I would rather give up.

Again, they have the 28th ranked passing offense.

He was 1 serious target who Revis will take out. This is a dream matchup for us.

Shred the secondary to who? We can put Cro on whoever we want on any play and the rest of the receiving corp is a joke.

You guys have to keep in mind the Chiefs stats are even worse than they appear. They played the NFC West, AFC West twice. The Bills and Browns to.

If they played our schedule I don't think their run would be top 5. All of their stats are padded with the easy schedule.

Any road game in the NFL is tough to win, but let's not get crazy about Cassel shredding the jets secondary. After Bowe, i don't think they have the firepower to do that. If the Jets can just start tackling runners again, i love their chances.
