I mean we only beat the #1 seed in the afc.

And Beat the #2 seed in the afc.

No chance @ all to make it to the superbowl though.

If the SB is Pats/Saints, I'm sure Browns fans will bitch about how they deserve the rings.

He's right, I think best case scenario we beat KC, lose the NE in a close game, come back next year with a revampled Defensive line. Sometime this decade we may go to the SB, it won't be this year, we have too many holes.

I don't care who we face.

We can beat any team..... if we don't beat ourselves.

Have you been watching the games the last 4 weeks? We're not beating ourselves, we're just not that good.

    False,

This week we showed are offense, when rolling, can hang 30+ points on a top D like the Bears. We also have seen our defense be very solid. We just haven't put both sides of the ball together since Buffalo.

That is a lot of ifs at this point.

    AFC East-New England Patriots 13-2
    AFC North- Pittsburgh Steelers 11-4
AFC West - Kansas City Chiefs 10-5
    AFC South- Indianapolis Colts 9-6
Wild Cards - Baltimore Ravens 11-4, New York Jets 10-5

Last year, we got to the AFC Championship because of great defense, Shonn Greene and Thomas Jones practically ran free, and we had some nice TD throws from Sanchez. This year, we are going in to the playoffs with a run game that's been average at best the past few weeks as well as the O-Line, practically no pass-rush, and two very inexpirienced safeties. The only reason TEs were a non-factor last year was because of Kerry Rhodes.

just missing a few words as the poster was typing too fast and not reading what was written. Actually, a fair assessment of the Jets...no pass rush, average OLine and running game.

To be honest, I've never felt such a feeling as hopelessness as I do thinking about going into Foxboro to win. It seems like mission impossible after that whooping we got.

I just hope the Jets go in there with something to prove and revenge on their minds.

ONE GAME AT A TIME.. It's just the way I feel. Can't go with these, ifs ands or buts, because, with this team, we come out one week blazing, the next, flat. We have a half of great d, then a half of no pass rush. This team is obviously flawed. Take one game at a time, and prepare for the opponent. NOTHING is easy in the playoffs, NOTHING.

That's Belicheck's mantra and I totally agree. Concentrate on the first WC game which is likely to be against KC. If it changes to a different opponent, then so be it.

The original poster's predictions were totally ridiculous. PIT getting beaten by CLE? Really? If you want to put money on that, contact me via PM. I'll be happy to take PIT.

BAL should be able to beat CIN although this could be an upset.
NYJ should beat BUF but this also could be an upset since Sanchez probably won't play.

Funny how two weeks changes things though. Our run game and pass game has been very good the past two weeks. Now I am more worried about our defense t hat cant seem to stop anyone.

I think it's the match up that the Pats least want, but the reality is that it's going to take something special to beat them. Anything can happen in the postseason though, I don't want to have to play them again but if we do I'm going to believe we can beat them.
