hahahha you tell them Abdul!!!! No ones gonna talk shit about us damnit!!!! The media is against the Jets! They hate us!!!!! You guys are so gay
Haters are just haters! It seems that every time we win a game because of luck. If thats the case, then we can say your team is lucky because you got Manning, Brady, etc. Sup with all those haters man! I guess people love to see you fail!
Agree! Pats got lucky on that game against the Packers and no one is saying that they are lucky! WTF!
Christ. I never hear analysts talk about no-calls, but now they all of a sudden decide to bring one up?
I hope we luck our way right to the Super Bowl....anybody who doesn't like it, can take their forefingers and shove them up their anuses.
meida folks aren't dumb.........the Jets as a story are a lightning rod, Rex painted the bullseye on himself and the team/organization in the offseason.the Alosi thing didn't help. Any story on the Jets inflames passion one way or the other, that equals ratings, views , clicks etc. they're hated now, and it's not a bad thing. If they sucked, no one would care
Seriously what is the deal with the Jets being the poster boy for luck and no calls? Every game there will be a bunch of no calls that go both ways. yet when it happens in a Jets game every announcer brings it up like there is some sort of conspiracy theory going on between the Jets, the league, the officials, the clock operators, and satan
BTW ... haven't heard anyone mention it ... but on the Sanchez TD, Turner missed a block and while he was flying by, it looks like he whipped his leg up to trip the DB. Lucky for us his leg mostly missed ... because the way things have gone ths year, if the guy was a good actor, the official would have flagged us 15 yards and taken away our TD. Sanchez was already crossing the goal line at the time, but they would have screwed us for sure if they saw it. I din't notice it until I watched the replay. It looks more obvious from the other angle, but here it it ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7zroSULzpk
Shoot...We gave the Steelers a whole extra yard for a first down. Officiating is what is. I hate when people think a games outcome would be changed because of a penalty. Perhaps it would help, perhaps he would have forced the ball in a crowded short field and threw a pick 6. There is no way of ever knowing. I've done by best not to listen to anyone BUT the Jets this year, and it's working out beautiful. Otherwise I get too pissed listening to their ignorance, and lack of knowledge for the game. Example: Skip Bayless.
The Stillers got 2 automatic first downs, which they were both short by a yard both times. Then a non block in the back call from Flozel Adams to Shaun Ellis.. It was clear as day, nothing. So fuck the haters.
The Steelers definitely benefited more from poor officiating than the Jets did, there's no argument there. That said, if that relatively blatant grab got called on Lowery, the Jets probably lose the game. So let's just agree that the refs are absolute shit and move on with our lives.
Winner. Btw, couldn't the grab have just been called defensive holding which is 5 yards plus a first down? I haven't seen the play in question (wasn't paying attention when they showed the replay)
just forget about it guys. the jets won't win a game this year that isn't considered lucky. there is so much built up hatred for this team around the NFL. i just want to know if the jets have ever been unlucky when they lost. did any of these people mention the bogus pass INT's we got called against us vs the Ravens that handed them free pts? what about the braylon edwards penalty on the FG attempt vs the ravens that gave them a TD? the packer game we had 2 fluke INT's. i can go on and on.
At first glance, I thought this was another one of Cimini's steaming piles of hot garbage ...now I know that there are 2 douchebags that cover the Jets
Had the refs seen it and made the right call ti should have been illegal contact (which is the DB or LBer making contact with the receiver after the 5 yard mark, while the ball is not in the air) Steelers should have gotten a 1st down on that. with that said i seen ellis get held at least 4-5 times that was never called. the steelers average over 100 penalty yards a game and only got 30 i believe and both were on illegal hits if i remember one was very blatant and had to be called and he will get fined as well. he launched himself head first into BE, it was irrelevant where the hit landed because launching yourself head first in itself is illegal
I think we as fans should just start to embrace this "lucky" label. When discussing matchups with fans of other teams, remember to mention that we are the luckiest team of all-time, so their stats and historical perspective mean nothing to us. There is no way New England beats the Jets in the playoffs, we are too lucky.
For the folks who comment here how they like/dislike those "media" guys - You are apparently watching them and commenting here which verifies their existance. If nobody watched or listened, ESPN would be a 24 hour infomercial.
