    Good news!!

So would Lowery still start if Diggs is ready to go?

I wouldn't want a still banged up Digs in coverage.

True, but I would want him in for running plays.

Wouldn't Pool be in coverage anyway and Diggs would be roaming or more likely blitzing if he's in?

I'm already calling it. If he is healthy enough to play and blitz like he is known to, I expect him to level Ben.

Just to verify his site bio says his nickname is Diggs given by fellow players.

So is it Dig or Diggs?

Digs can be the strong safety, but I'd like 2 safeties with range against this passing offense of theirs.

    They like going deep.

Apparently he did not practice today as first reported but is still expected to play.

Here is a screenshot from Diggs' site-

Rex says McKnight presents a matchup problem, with speed and receiving skills, and it's a "possibility" he'll see more time this wk. #nyj"

Looks like WSW will get his wish, I'm looking forward to it too.

Patience. He had bad habits to fix coming out of college.

I'm happy to see him being rewarded.

Can you imagine the mood on here if he has a breakout game against the leagues best run D.

    Is junc anti-McKnight?

I'd love to see him breakout with a huge run, or screen pass.

junc is not anti-McKnight. Most Jets fans want him to succeed.

I can't remember who, but in that thread there was one person who really hated him.

If for nothing else I want him to succeed to shut the Woodhead lovers up.

The usual sorts that believe everything hard knocks and newspapers tell them, and don't let a 4th round pick with bad habits develop because he's from USC and they think he should be godlike because of the school he went to and Pete Carroll didn't take him when he didn't draft any of his players. Just weak arguments by people with zero understanding of how difficult it is to transition from the NCAA to the NFL. Those with patience and understanding will be rewarded. He'll show up in games and give LT and SG a rest. Its all bitter hindsight with Woodhead and the Leon-lovers who still miss him.

Its been two camps of either he'll be a pure playmaker or he'll be an all time embarrassment to this team. There is no middle ground with the McKnight camps. Its saddening.

Junc uses stats and nothing else. Football isn't baseball.
