    On CNN right now

The roof caved in because of the snow and wind that has been in Minneapolis. There is also a hole in the roof. Unclear whether the game tomorrow has to be rescheduled. My guess is that it will be rescheduled, no idea when..

Wow, unbelievable. I would guess they could play at the University of Minnesota or something?

I can't see them logistically moving the game by tommorow night. Tuesday maybe?

They are talking about it now on NFL Network. They went live early.

If the roof can't be repaired in time (which I think is likely), it seems most fair to the Vikings fans to have the game at TCF Bank Stadium. Though it is outdoors, it gives the Vikings fans a more true home game than it would be if they moved the game to the Meadowlands. Think those are the two options, but I would go with having the game at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

Makes sense. Just looked that stadium up. Never knew the Metrodome, TCF Stadium and the twins stadium were all within a few miles of each other.

Yeah, why not? The league has done it before. Put the Vikings end zone art in the Meadowlands end zone, make the Giants wear white, and then pretend the Vikings are the home team, NFL. Do that again. It was great and perfectly fair. I am sure the other NFC contenders will not mind.

They should offer tickets to Jets season ticket holders only, and encourage them to wear purple to the game. After all the nonsense this week I'm SURE that the Jets fans wouldn't mind rooting for old man winter one more time.

They should make Los Angeles the "Official" city to host teams with stadium issues.

That's not an outrageous idea, but that city sometimes had trouble with attendance when they had good teams. Who would go to a Giants-Vikings game in Los Angeles? Most, if not all, of the tickets would have to be given away for free.

Furthermore, on such short notice it would be very difficult to move a game there.

Games should be moved to a local college stadiums, if possible, in these types of situations. That happened in 1989 with a Patriots at 49ers game. It was moved to Palo Alto.

Maybe they can move it to the TCF stadium which is the gophers football team's brand new stadium.

And how ironic where a game Favre wouldn't start if this game was on time get postponed due to the snow.

Not eeven mother nature wants the streak to end eh?

Since the Giants are in KC I think it makes more sense to have both teams fly to St Louis... that way it's still in a dome

    RIP Metrodome

You'd think engineers in Minnesota would have planned for heavy snow

NFL Network says because the gametime temperature will be below 0 before windchill and the Giants have no winter gear with them expecting to play indoors - they are looking for dome sites in the area - leading contender is Detroit.

Favre said he would not have played today, but could be available tomorrow. What a clown.

The game will likely be moved to Detroit or New Orleans. The Giants prefer Detroit. Who the hell cares what they would like. They are not the home team.
