I know a win's a win, but after getting blown out by the Pats and playing the Steelers next week. I won't be satisfied with anything less than a blowout.
No question, they should have cut Folk after the Browns game. It can't be a question of technique or muscle memory, as he probably takes 100s of practice kicks a week. I think it's more of a mental issue, which is the hardest to correct. He has the NFL version of the yips. I think we need to RUN THE G'DAMN BALL A LOT vs. Miami. C'mon, Schotty.... let's figure this out.
Marshall is playing but will be up against revis and apparently no one even wants to challenge him this year..fasano will probably have 150 yards in this game.
We don't blow anybody out. We won't blow out the dolphins either. But I think we will play our best 60 minutes of football all year on Sunday.
I'd say 38-14 is a blowout. We dominated the Bills as easy as that was early in the season. And yes if we do play our best 60 minutes of football in all three areas of the game we will blow out the queers from Miami
After that monday night debacle the Jets owe us a blowout against the Dolphins a decent win against the Steelers and a win against Chicago too. It's gonna take alot to erase the memory of what they did on monday night. They still have to prove they can beat a damned playoff team or what's the sense of going to the playoffs?
they don't owe us 3 straight wins. If they want the division they need to go 4-0 down the stretch and hope for some luck. If they want to settle for the wild card they need to go 1-3, 2-2. It starts sunday, and we really need to beat Miami to get our minds right. Going to pitt won't be easy at all, that defense is filthy. Sanchez will need to be extremely careful with the ball that day.
They owe us a blow out??? Fans of football teams aren't owed anything. That said, Miami will leave this sunday in the hurt locker.
Vernon carey will probably miss this game along with Brian hartline. Big loss for the phins considering carey is one of the better RT's in the league. Hartline was a thorn in our side the first game. Can throw revis on Marshall and then focus on Bess. Dolphins are in for some trouble
We don't know whether the Pats loss will have a hangover effect on the Jets. Having said that it is fair to say the fish do not have the diverse talent at receiver, and of course no Tom Brady, that NE has, so they do not present the same matchup problems for the Jet secondary.
I'm a little surprised at the lack of Fin-fans posting here this week. This is usually one of the more active weeks for other posters...
