No, we need to beat Brady and Bellicheat together, they embarrassed the Jets on MNF in a crucial game ... we need to return the favor ... to win a hard fought game against the best QB in the NFL would be so satisfying giving us the up-most confidence to beat anyone I'm sick of fucking Tom Brady, I want him to experience the meltdown the Jets experienced, in bigger fashion
OK, so more than likely here are your choices: A- Go back to Foxboro for the AFCCG. B- Don't go to the AFCCG. Anyone who picks B is a total tool. Who doesn't want a shot at the Pats after that? Even if we lose again, we learn from it and apply it next year. This team's SB window is only just opening. When we lock up Harris, Holmes in the offseason, we'll have all the major pieces to build around. So IF we can get it together and get to the AFCCG and it's in Foxboro, of course you want to play that game. The worst thing that happens is you lose. The best thing is that you exorcise 40 years of demons. After all, to be the man, you have to beat the man. WOOOOOOO!
Ha. No doubt. But continue the Flair analogy, then Balt or Pitt becomes the man (for a week) and we beat them. Of course the is we win the division, the next is that NY finishes 5th, we win out in the playoffs and so does Baltimore and we host them in the AFCCG. But the most realistic path goes through NE. My point is that no matter where the game is and who it's against, if this team plays to its talent level, we could win.
NE is Sting to the Jets Flair, not a good match up. Unless the other horsemen can come in there and hit Brady with a chair shot.
Damn. I am completely out of my depth on this reference. But yeah, we might lose again, but it's all experience for a team who's got the potential to be a contender for years to come.
no one expected the Ravens to beat NE @ home this year (January). My point is, anything can happen. The PATS are stoppable, the JETS just need a good gameplan because I dont know what they heck that was during MNF.
I 2nd that motion, the NE team that lost to the Ravens had Moss who was not interested and Welker was out. Fumbles Maroney was the RB. Same team we beat in week 2. This is not that team!! The Tight Ends have matured, Ellis and Woodhead compliment each other well at RB and Branch + Tate seem to be better than Moss was in week 2 (not the 2007 Moss). Welker is still Welker.
Theirs a good chance the Ravens play them. The Ravens seem to have their number as of late and keep the games very close.
I agree lets hope it works out so we play pit in divisional rounds and then we will have to either play the ravens at Home or the Pats in there house. I like that situation the best. Not looking foward to playing New england if we dont have to
It doesn't matter to.me. I know.we would play them much tougher a second time around. We can run the ball on them all game long. The Pats are weak against the run.
