Jets Week 14 Playoff Clinch Scenarios

Do you feel like a total tool when you're pretending to be a Jets fan? A simple cursory glance at your post history shows how sorry and transparent you are. But you get so excited when you talk about the Pats, eh? Kiss off.

 

You know what, at this point I just want the Jets to clinch a playoff seed. Back to Back years in the playoffs is a good start to something.

 

Just lookin at things realistically.Sure we can turn things around but so much work has to be done I would like to say the Jets will come out this week and crush the Fins but everytime we think they are going to respond with a big game they simply wind up just gettin by.I know there are others on here that agree with me.Someone posted in another thread bout how Rex has this team too loose.

I am not a Jetfan who only looks at the positives there are many negatives that have to be addressed if shit needs to get fixed.Humble pie my fiends its the only way you improve.

 

The defense coming off their best overall game vs Cincy lost Leonhard on the last day of real practice. What did you expect??

Like many others I tried to see the positives that might come out of it, but it was blatantly obvious we missed Jim after it was 17-0 in the blink of an eye.

Now Rex has time to coach those replacements.

Yes the loss of Leonard was huge in this past Mondays game and we have to get to work on fixin it especially now that it looks like we lost another safety after this week in Dig.Im just sayin before we start thinkin bout playoffs and clinchin certain spots lets concentrate each week on seein if we can address the obvious problems cause until now it just simply looks like they werent adjusting well week to week.Hopefully this blowout was the eye opener.

I still believe we are winning the division. We feel out as hell but remember last year?

we were 4-6 got rocked in New England. Playoff hopes were gone. We were just happing to get to .500

Then everything fell our way and the rest is history.

 

We won 9 of 10 before this game. I think we were adjusting well from week to week and especially during games.

 

I remember at 4-6 we had Carolina, Buffalo and Tampa Bay coming up, someone here made a "we could get to 7-6" thread and got shit for it at first. Of course then it happened and the tone changed.

 

We just faced a really good team Monday that exposed are weeknesses granted the loss of Leonard was easy to expose.We now just have to be ready for better teams who can take advantage of weakness's.

Dont know if you are a Jets fan or not but I I have read some of your previous posts and I can see that you also look at things from a realistic standpoint.

 

Huge Jet fan for over 30 years and very realistic. And my biggest worry right now is that our coach may be a big , fat giant fraud.

 

That kinda thing doesn't happen every year though.

 

They exposed some weaknesses but the rest of the teams we face don't have Bellichick with 11 days to prepare and they don't have Brady to execute the game plan. Every team is different, every game is different. Add to that we lost a key defensive player in practice a couple days before the game, which almost never happens, and you had a perfect storm of shit. We play some good teams coming up, but nobody as good as them.

 

He's 20-11 including playoffs. Compare that to pretty much any coach we've ever had.
