I have seen more than enough of Schitthead. He is a crappy OC, crappy play designs, crappy play calling. McDaniels took an offense with no talent and made them pretty potent. Imagine what he would do with the talent on the Jets? I realize it is season ending to do this mid season, and I am not serious about the now part. BUT, if this team finishes the season as I expect them to, and they can bring in McDaniels in the off season, DO IT!
Rex seems like one of those loyal "go down with the ship" type of coaches. I don't see him ever getting rid of anyone on his staff. Our only hope is that some NFL owner develops Alzheimer's and hires Schotty as his head coach.
As O.C.? sure, after this season. As much as he sucks as a head coach he has made Kyle Orton look like a stud all season.
Are you bringing him in assuming that he will stick with Shittenhead's playbook? That the team wouldn't need to learn anything new with 5 games remaining? That's the only way something like this would work.
Is he bringing Tom Brady? I guess you guys were impressed w/ the 6 pts they put up vs. KC or his team collapsing last year or the many garbage time pts his offense put up in Denver. We have a better OC now, we need our players to execute.
I'll say this much...Rex always showers his defense with confidence by choosing to kick off to start games. Last night I was actually hoping he show some confidence in his offense and give them a chance to score early on the Pats and control their own destiny. The fact he didn't tells me a lot about how he feels about the offense.
WTF are you talking about? I am talking about Denver this year? Denver has scored 11 points less than the Jets this year. Jets have a pathetic schedule, and a ton of talent. Denver has had a pretty tough schedule, and zero talent. For that they have less than one point less per game than the Jets.
The same Kyle orton that had similar #s in '08 in Chi and '09 in den? he's putting up some better #s this year thanks mostly to garbage time #s. McDaniels didn't have to develop orton like Brian has had to develop sanchez and by the way he's done a great job developing Mark.
Funny, my dad was saying the same thing this morning. I doubt he would take the job, and more importantly, rex isn't getting rid of schitty anytime soon. For somevreason rex thinks he is great. Maybe schotty is the man at madden or something.
Denver has scored less than 20 pts six times, the jets three times(all 3 losses). Denver has had a bunch of blowout games(for and against) where they put up big garbage time #s. vs. Baltimore, down 24-7 in the 4th- lose 31-17 the Oak game was 38-0 before they scored a pt The KC game was 35-10 at the half, they won 49-29 down 35-7 to SD, they tack on a 4th qtr TD down 33-13 to SL, they lose 36-33
I'd love to see McD as our OC too.....but not in week 14 of this season.....sure, we got blown out yesterday....but we're still in a position to do some damage in the playoffs. I want to see how the Jets respond against the Phins....
