At what point did you "know" the game was over?

For me it was the shanked punt. When that happened, it became clear to me that nothing was going to go right for this team.

The Jets being unable to put together a drive late in the 2nd Q to get back w/in two scores.

I really thought they could have done something in the 2nd half.

After the Sanchez threw that pick in the redzone on the opening drive of the second half. 24-10 would have still been a ballgame.

When Sanchez threw the pick to end the opening drive of the 2nd half. It was a great drive to that point that I thought could have gotten us back in the game with a TD.

I still had hope until the INT to begin the 3rd qtr, if we score a TD there it's 24-10 and we are in the game.

    1st quarter....
NO way we were going to come back three scores the way our teans was dragging.

The team can not focus after a long break.

The Ravens loss was 1st game and after the starters were rested the fourth preseason game.

Green Bay loss was after our bye-week

This one came after 11 days off since last game.

For me the game ended with the first interception in the 3rd quarter. Went back sparringly and every time I peaked more points were on the board. I ended up dreaming that final score was 97-3 and that the crowd was chanting to go for the fg to make it 100.

yup, thats when I said its over.

I knew if we came out of the half and drove down the field and put points up, or at the very least didnt turn it over after proving to ourselves we could move the ball, we had a shot. So we drive down the field, sanchez throws a ball directly to a defender, who even if he wasnt standing there, would have been picked off by the other three guys covering edwards. Then the danny woodhead shovel pass put a dagger in the defense and they just gave up after that.

At 17-0...I figured we'd need to score like 35-37 to win at that point (at least) with the way our defense was playing, and we weren't going to do that.

Guess it's a good thing we're not getting the bye then lol

17-3, with the team showing absolutely no fight. By the 3rd, I had walked away entirely and spent my time checking out porn on the interwebz....

when they attempted a 53 yard field goal in high winds. Just screamed desperation from the beginning. They used a challenge, went for it on fourth, stalled, and could have tried to pin the Patriots deep. Instead they went with a very tough kick so they could match the Patriots field goal. To me it showed the Ryan didn't trust his defense last night without leonard.

Pretty much after the shanked punt. Had thoughts of the Monday night Miracle at 17-0. Lost all hope after the first pick. Turned it off after the third.

Waiting to see which New York paper uses "The Boston Massacre" headline. Total team effort in suck (with the exception Shonn Greene, who looks ready for December).

This may turn out to be a positive, as it's clear this team needed a kick in the sack. Not worried yet. What I wouldn't pay to be a fly on the wall for that postgame locker room speech...

With the Pats knocking on the door and ready to go up 24-3 I knew I'd be spending times with my old friends Nausea and Disgust.

I did however have a very bad feeling when Ryan threw the challenge flag in the first quarter over spotting of the ball. He's thrown several moronic challenges this year and it just set a dismal tone.

I don't disagree with the challenge, IF, he planned on burning a TO anyway to make a decision. Throw the flag and see what happens, worst case you end up without a TO that you were about to burn anyways. Best case, you get to keep the TO get the time to think about it, and the ball gets moved and you get a first down.

For me it was the play after Sanchez's INT inside the redzone. The Pats had the ball inside their own 5 with the Jets "ferocious" D coming at them. We needed a big turnover/safety or maybe just a 3 and out.

Instead Brady stepped up in the pocket with plenty of time and threw a 20 yard pass to Welker. That sealed the deal

2 separate points. when new england fumbled the kickoff return and it just bounced the wrong way and they got it back. it wasnt our night at that point. and then when we drove down the field and ended up throwing the interception at the goal line. then they went and brought it all the way back methodically and scored. that broke the teams will at that point.
