Its just a bad game...

I'm extremely concerned about the defense going forward. I know we're not an elite unit at all but I didn't think that the defense would be THIS bad w/o Leonhard. This is a complex system that Leonhard knew inside and out.

 

The team mailed this game in tonight. They had a golden opportunity to back up all the bs they spewed all season long and they choked. Yeah, they choked on national TV in front of God and everybody. They saved their worse game of the year for tonight on the national stage. Are they ready for Prime time? Hell no. Is this CS ready for Prime Time? Hell no. Do they really need to look in the mirror and find out who exactly is staring back at them? Hell Yeah. In the meantime, they need to SHUT THE FUCK UP and get back to basics and that included Rex and his stand up comedy routine.

This is nothing. It's one game, and despite the hype, it wasn't a do or die.

The result of this game is no where near as important as how they respond after it. :up:

This was the first time the Jets got blown out all season. It's alright, shit happens.

I was just going to make this thread...This is just a bad game...We got completely beat and looked extremely flat out there.

Sucks that we did not show up today. But losing this one is not devastating...So for the SOJ fans, just shut the fuck up.

 

Keep telling yourself that. Face facts...the better team won tonight. It wasn't the weather. We got our heads handed to us. The Patriots have been playing great the last few weeks and we haven't. We'll win 11 or 12 and maybe win a playoff game or 2.

 

I think the loss of Leonard so late in the week hurt the Jets D a lot but that's the NFL.

There's still plenty of season left but don't fool yourselves, this was definitely going to be a statement game by one team tonight and it was clearly the Patriots.

I thought the Steelers game was well played by the Pats but this was just a great game by the Patriots.

 

The Jets lose by 40 points in as big of a regular season game as you will see and you feel the need to attack the fans. Keep going sir, you're a great Jets fan.

The top 2 teams in the NFL that faced in a monday night game the visiting team has been blown out. Twice the loser has gone on to win the Super Bowl that year.

I am a great Jets fan, because I don't let a loss like this affect my attitude towards my team.

We are 9-3 and still in prime position for the playoffs. Most would have signed up for that record at this point.

 

You're a piece of shit fan because you're taking shots at fellow fans immediately following a brutal loss. You want to be positive? Great, it's no reason to mother-fuck fans that feel like venting.

Do you really believe people that lose their mind after losses aren't real Jet fans? As ridiculous as the posts sometimes are its the same guys week after week. We're all Jets fans people just deal with it in different ways.

 

You won't win the divison and you won't win against the Bears or Green Bay. Face it, over-hyped team gets pulled down to where they ought to be. Average QB with average obnoxious coach is nothing compared to a hall of fame QB with one of the best head coaches ever.
