I've been a Fin hater for a long time, probably since I first started paying attention to the Jets way back when. Granted I wasn't paying attention to football for as long as some of the other members here and fans as well, but Once I latched onto the Jets, I almost automatically hated the Dolphins. Whether because I was "supposed too" or it was from my early experiences, I can't recall. Nevertheless, Dan Marino was the son of Satan and was the leader of all things evil.

For the last 10 years the Jets Achilles heel has been the Pats. The shit that went down in 1999-2000 with the infamous napkin resignation (hc of nyj), Curtis Martin, etc is starting to get under my skin. I figured once the Jets took the AFCE in 2002, we would be battling for the title on an almost every year basis. The Pats got an SB win in 01 and our year was up next, especially with Chad playing well. Instead we seem to be buried under Mo Lewis' infamous history changing hit.

I know the media is blowing up the Jets-Pats game more than it needs to be but I think I am just sick and fucking tired of the Pats. 10 years is enough. The Fins have been the poster children of mediocrity in the AFCE for the last 10 years. One division title, and a couple good seasons, but they are pretty much a step or two below the Jets. This season proves that Miami will be irrelevant for at least another 1-2 season.

But I am losing my hate for Miami. Its swinging. I am so sick and tired of Brady & the Pats being the NFL's fanboy. Granted, 3 SB wins will do that to a team. Anyone else feel like this? Anyone else just changing the hate? I just want to win. Fuck the fins, they suck. The Pats are the target, the real prize. To be the best you have to beat the best.

Honestly, I really don't understand why any Jet fan could hate Miami more than the Pats. I mean, it's been a looong time since Miami ruled the AFC East. You'd really have to go back to the Shula era in the 80's. I do remember hating them with a white hot passion. At that time the Pats teams were usually as bad as the Jets if not worse.

The Pats have completely owned this division for an entire decade and I am so freaking sick of it. I feel like Red Sox fans must have felt before they beat the Yankees in 2004. I feel like the Patriots will always be standing in the way of everything the Jets hope to achieve. I wish that Belichick and Brady would just retire or get hit by a bus.

Miami fans in general are worse than pat fans, although this week that statement could have fooled me

That is correct. This is not so much about giving credit to Pats fans as merely acknowledging that Miami has the worst fans in any sport, any place, any time, all history, for the entire human race.

I have the same response every time this is brought up, Pats "fans" and their team are only a temporary annoyance.

I have family all over the Mass area, whenever I went up their from my birth in 79 to 2000 I never saw anyone wearing any Pats gear and talking about our family wearing Jets gear. Literally, no one cared about the football team they had playing in their state. Once Tom and BB are gone, or when they start to decline we'll see Pats "fans" everywhere disappear.

We dominated the Pats in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and now we've won the last 2 of 3 meetings and things are looking up.

Miami is and always will be our hated rival, the Pats are just temporary.

    That.

I went to college in Boston from 92-94 and for kicks used to take the train to Pats games now and then. It was nothing like it is now. They sucked and the fans really couldn't have cared less about whether they won or lost, the game was just an excuse to tailgate.

    Good answer....

Both fans can be major Tools....

A lot of Patsy fans came out of the woodwork the past 10 years or so and were already #### Red Sox fans.. So, jumping on the Pats bandwagon made those fans even worse.

Miami fans make me laugh though.. For all my years I've run into Miami fans who for whatever reason had some sore of superiority complex over the Jets.. I've NEVER seen Miami win a Super Bowl and Head to Head we have a better record...

At least Pats fans have won.

Miami fans are still living off the 70's team I NEVER EVEN SAW..... I won't break out Namath talk and you don't break out K-ZONK Crap.

I've hated Miami fans over the years mostly because they talk #### over a team that has been pretty mediocre to crappy for the past 35 years.

Any team the Jets play I hate automatically. I hate all AFC East teams equally.

the Bills have been an NFL rape victim since 1998......it's tough to hate on that. But i do enjoy the comedic aspect of it though.

I still hate Miami the most because of their delusional faggot fans. Last 2 years I keep hearing all the Henne>Sanchez and Rex is not a good coach and how they will make the playoffs over us this year. All the offseason smack talking stopped now so its easier to hate the Pats more but the Dolphins are just so gay.

I tried to adhere to the "hate all rivals equally" philosophy -- but since the league started changing the rules to help New England, and then, of course, when they were caught and convicted for cheating -- the full wrath of my ire is now for The Cheatriots.
