Bill Belichick tips hat to Jets’ Rex Ryan

I wonder if he'll still be tipping his hat to Rex when we beat the patsies into the ground.

 

Wow I did not realize we were ahead of the Pats in total offense too.

Defense we are 3rd, but our of the top 3 we allow the fewest points.

YPG on offense doesn't mean jack if you attempt as many FG's as we do. The Pats are #1 in PPG.

 

We're number 4 in points allowed, and number 3 in yards allowed, their offensive stats mean jack shit when facing our defense.


I only mentioned it because I was surprised.

 

I understand that but our offense is not better than NE, I don't care how many more YPG we get.

Once we see the Mark that we see win us games for a whole game, the sky is the limit.

Monday, we will have more yards, more points, and a sweep of the Pats. That is all I really care about in the end.

Plus we give up 7 less points a game than them.

 

There's a level of mutual respect between Rex and Belichick that isn't there between Mangini and Belichick. At the very least, I'm glad there's no more annoying back story of "master vs. pupil"

 

Or the post-game handshake being talked about more than the game. lol

The Patriots have scored 19 more points than us with D/ST combined. They have 2 KR/PR TD's, we have 1, they have 3 pick 6's, we have 1, they have 0 safeties and we have one.

They've scored 70 more than us overall. So while it's not as big of a margin as PPG at face value, it's still a good margin. You also have to take into account our defense setting us up with better field position more often if you want to really break it down.

 

Rex's Ravens' D gave Belichick's offense fits for years. No surprise Bill respects Rex and his accomplishments on the field.
