Sure fire HOFer but I do not think Curtis makes it in this go round. Bettis, Sanders, Sharpe, Faulk just to name a few quite a list of semi finalists
I think you're right but it shouldn't. So many factors come into play with winning a ring, a great player on a shitty team may never get a chance to wear one and it has nothing to do with his talent or accomplishments.
I'll form an opinion when he makes the top 15. He certainly will, but it'll give a better picture of who is going to be his competition. The douche writers a part of this process would typically leave a player like Martin out of the top 5.
I figured 2012 will be his induction, and depending how many get inducted, with that list I'm sticking by it. :shit: :jets::martin:
Nothing but love for C-Mart, hopes he makes it in, but when the fuck are they going to bring in one of the best defensive players ever to play this game. Joe Klecko should have been inducted years ago, Pro bowler at 3 different spots on the D line, no other player in NFL history has come even close.... It is horse shit that he is by passed year after year while other lesser defensive players are inducted....
Bettis was a backup and not much of a factor at all. Is the one ring that much of a big deal in this case? Bettis did have more fame for whatever that is worth. Martin has Bettis beat everywhere else, though.
CMart certainly deserves his place in the HOF....i just don't think it's going to happen this time around.
My list: Cris Carter Shannon Sharpe Willie Roaf Lester Hayes Dieon Sanders Marshall Faulk Whoever is the senior committee pick Everyone else waits until next year
You can't just automatically annoint the Senior Committee's nominee's as an entrant into the HOF w/o even knowing who they are? There are two of them - Washington Redskins LB Chris Hanburger and LA Rams LB Les Richter.
That's a team accomplishment, not individual. Curtis will get in, the question is when. Hopefully this year.
