I know this is really hard for you to believe being that the Pats are 9-2 and all, but your team doesn't have a chance of winning this game. The oddsmakers are going to give the Pats like 3 points for homefield and if you have any money in the bank I suggest you put it all on the Jets.

If you have a strategy that will work for the Pats please post it, because I can see no way for them to win here.

You won a home game, same as last year and then the Pats spanked the Jets in Foxborough. Same result this year. NYJ seed # 5.

You don't seem to understand... you have no chance. Don't you understand that your team is 31st against the pass? There are only 32 teams in the NFL! And who on your defense is going to stop the 3rd rated rushing attack in the league? Don't you understand that the Jets can do whatever they want against the Pats? All the Pats can do is try and pass the ball, but as Tom Brady looks out over the field he sees Revis and Cromartie circling out there like a couple of starving Mako Sharks, so what are his options? Not many... Just like last time, not many...

I like your confidence, but to claim that the Patriots have no chance in Foxboro, where they haven't lost for 25 games straight, is ridiculous.

But let's talk about Sanchez options...

Maybe he'll hit you over the middle with Cotchery and Keller. Or maybe he'll fake to Holmes and burn you deep with Edwards. Or maybe he'll just burn you with Holmes alone. Or maybe he'll hit LT out of the backfield. Or maybe the Jets will just keep pounding you with Greene and LT till the D-line gets tired and gives up.

You see the Jets just have so many options against the Pats, but the Pats can only do one thing, and that one thing is exactly what the Jets are built to stop. I hate to ruin the game for you before it even begins but... you have no chance. In all honesty you have to see that don't you?

I hope your mommy lets you stay up to watch the whole game. My guess is you'll need a sippy cup when it's over.

I am a pats fan, but I sincerely hope to have some good discussion with jets fans in the coming weeks. I live in NYC so I deal with jets fans a lot

I think the two teams are pretty evenly matched. The patriots have the stronger offense and the jets have the stronger defense. Besides the wildcat, the jets rushing game has been sputtering a bit as of late, especially LT. On top of that the Pats have allowed 1 100 yard rusher all season (hillis).

While I think the jets will need to take advantage of arrington/butler side of the ball, I am not sure sanchez will be able to take advantage of this weakness as much as the likes of Peyton, Roethlisberger did (and Roethlisberger was mostly in garbage time). Yes Sean Hill did expose the defense too, but he also threw a couple of timely picks. I think the same thing could happen to Sanchez if they jets go with a more pass based offense. Our defense is young and sometimes misreads the play but they are fast and can make the athletic plays (evidenced by our number 2 ranking in interceptions).

Additionally, I don't think pointing to the patriots offensive ouput (in yards) really shows the true story of the patriots offense. Obviously the patriots offense has evolved since moss was traded. And if you watch the patriots play they are a pretty methodical, moving down the field and scoring on long drives. That limits the amount of yards they produce.

I don't think putting out some random statistics and saying that they prove the patriots don't have any chance to win this game really proves anything at all. Under your logic the patriots have the number 1 scoring offense and the jets are more middle of the pack so there is no chance the patriots lose this game (now i don't believe this, i'm just using it as an example to prove a point).

I am not trying to predict who will win here, I think it will be a good game. Treat me nice please!

It's gonna be so cool to be 10-2. We haven't been 10-2 in a while y'know...

Oh, with all the aforementioned things did I mention the Brad Smith option? No I guess I didn't think it was necessary, and it isn't.

Come on Jet fans, saying the Pats have no chance in their own building is as dumb as the average post we see on FinHeaven. If this was some walk in the park game it wouldn't be the "Marquee game of the year" or "One of the biggest regular season games in Jet history"

Yes, our stats look good, and I agree I think we match up very well against New England. I'm confident we'll get out of that shithole with a W but most gang green fans know this win isn't going to come easily. It's gonna be a dog fight and both teams know it. Rex is gonna have our boys ready to play and I'm damn sure Brady and Billicheat will have his "Ultimate Team" riled up and ready to play. So lets stop with the assinine phrases like "The Pats have no chance." We sound like uneducated assholes.

I get it all in person living in NYC. But I get it from both sides from Giants and Jets fans. I don't know what Giants fans have against the Patriots, we did lose to them in the Super Bowl.

Evenly matched? It's a complete mismatch from the start. All the Pats have is the 14th rated passing attack in the league, beyond that they have nothing. No running game. No pass defense. No decent rushing defense. Not one real edge beyond Brady himself. To say the two teams are evenly matched considering all the weapons the Jets have compared to the Patriots is a gross misunderstanding of the task before you.

You really haven't been watching the Pats this season, because you have no idea what you're talking about. I am not going to warrant your drivel with replies, because I can tell already it will be a futile effort. I do want to discuss the game with reasonable Jets fans, and look forward to.

Well would you mind telling us what the Patriots can do to beat the Jets beyond just trying to beat Revis and Cromartie with the pass? I mean put yourself in Belichicks shoes, what can you do to neutralize all the Jets offensive weapons in this game?

I can't tell you about the outcome of the game... But I predict that James Ihedigbo will knock the shit outta Brady at some point in that game.

The worst part for the Pats is, after having been swept by the Jets it will dawn on them that they are no longer what they once were and that the Jets are a far more well rounded team than them. That's gonna be hard for a once great championship team to accept, but it happens to the best of 'em and now is just the Pats time that's all.. They have finally been bested by someone else in the division. Nothing lasts forever, and forever is coming on monday night.
