I know. It's just sad when, with one hand, they talk about hatred of all things New York (especially the Yankees), and then turn into Yankees fans with their behavior. It's hypocritical. Now, I'm not a Yankees fan. But I grew up in the NY metro area, and now live in the heart of New England. For all the complaints these guys have about Yankees fans during baseball season, they embody it in how they act as Pats fans during football season. They act just like Yankees fans.
Personally, I don't even like baseball. I could give a fuck less if the Yankees beat the Red Sox a million times a season. While most of the Pats trolls here probably suck <insert star Red Sox player>'s dick all the time and always bitch about how much they hate the Yankees, not all Patriots fans are like that.

Not all are, but a vast, vast majority are. At least it's the case in north-central Massachusetts. In the summer, it's ripping on Yanks fans for talking about past rings, being a team, and the Yankee "aura." But it's the same rhetoric you then hear from those same fans when they replace their Ortiz jerseys for Brady ones. It's massively hypocritical.
I live in Mass and all pats fans suck all year round. Its difficult discussing the NFL with fans that only started watching football after Mo knocked Bledsoe out..
The Pats only average 7 less rushing attempts per game than the Jets, oddly enough, the Jets average 1 MORE passing attempt. This isn't the same NE team that passes the ball 40 times a game vs 10 runs anymore. Based off of offensive stats I would give NE the edge, but facing each other defenses may flip flop this. In the end, we're just fans, we don't play the game. Can't wait til next Monday.
Tell me about it...went to Thanksgiving in MA and surrounded by a bunch of similar Pats fans.....no idea about anything pre-2001.....like the NFL started up that year. John Hannah, Steve Grogan, Chuck Fairbanks, The Snowblower Game, Leon Gray, the 1985 team -- all got blank stares and folks running to their laptops to look up the stuff I threw up at them. At least Boston RedSox fans know their history.
