Exactly... why were there no what if's on those two Green Bay interceptions* Here is one for you. What if Drew Coleman is an inch taller? Peyton Manning doesn't complete that ridiculous pass to Collie in the AFC Title game.
Wrong.Again  The NY Jets also failed to dominate in the 'Love from the officials' phase. If Ron Winter gets next Monday nights game, we're f*d.
So since Cimini wants to take plays away that actually happened does that mean we can add plays that didn't? For example late in the game Sanchez threw a deep ball to Edwards in which the CB fell down. The ball was not the best thrown pass but Edwards made the catch but came down out of bounds. By using Cimini's own argument we can say that it should have been a reception and given the Jets an excellent chance to put points on the board. 9 times out of 10 that ball is completed. I'm actually glad the ball wasn't caught because I won my teaser bet because the Jets didn't score another TD.
The Patriots are always getting Miracle wins. This Tom Brady guy always come through big for them. Without him they are just an average team.
This guys is right. You take away the two Brad Smith TD's, the Sanchez TD pass, the field goal and the Safety, and we scored a total of 0 points. You can't win games scoring 0 points.
If you take away all the points scored and rewind the clock back to 15:00 in the 1st quarter, you didn't play the game yet.
And if the Patriots didn't have Adam Vinatieri around to win them a couple superbowls, they wouldn't have those superbowl rings. Cimini is a joke of a reporter.
We didn't need to dominate. We took advantage of opportunities, broke open a kick return, and executed a reverse to perfection. You can't count on consistent TDs that way, but we still had to make both plays, and we did. And chances are, Smith will make another big TD later in this year. And then once we had the lead, we kind of just killed the ball, scored when we had to, and dominated on defense. Defensively, it may not have been a dominant performance, but it was pretty freakin close. Offensively, it wasn't, but we also won the special teams battle (despite the blocks in the back and the blocked punt).
oh my god. the jets still haven't put it all together and played great in all 3 phases! The Jets ahhh lucky! last time I checked the Pats almost never play a good defensive game. but the pats are awesome, unbeatable, all impressive wins in all 3 phases!
To me he's been the MVP of the team this year. It seems like every time he touches the ball, something good happens ... so I'm not suprised when he breaks a big play. Cimini is a tool. I can't wait to play the Pats just to shut all these idiots up once an for all.
I thought I heard on Mike and Mike last week that the Pats were giving up nearly 400 yards of offense a game. That 400 yard mark has only happened 6 times in NFL history. I suppose with that on their side it's a miracle they've won 9 games.
"The Jets lets the 2-9 Bengals hang around far too long" ...If I remeber correctly NE wasnt beating the 2-9 Lions at halftime either! Actually they were down by more than a fieldgoal
It's a miracle when Cimini writes an article where he doesn't comes off as a complete douche bag. Fuck Cimini!
i wouldn't call it a "miracle" win But it sure as hell wasn't an impressive win I don't get why we can't ever have a game where both the offense and defense plays really well throughout the whole game Only time we have come close to that this year was the Bills game We are as talented as any team in the NFL(at least that's what every analyst/fans say). You would think we would have been able to do that vs some of our lesser opponents Maybe we have overrated our talent
