The Jets matchup too well with their offense.

Neutralize the two outside threats. Knock out the run game (given). And let Palmer lose the game.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jordan take some snaps if it gets bad.

The Bengals look like they've totally quit on Marvin Lewis.

Though, to be fair, I'm sure I'd quit on Marvin Lewis too.

hahaha, I remember Rex asking either a ref or coach Lewis to play the other Palmer in the playoff game.

HOLY CRAP ... the Bengals have already dropped 7 straight and look what they have left ...

    @Jets -Saints - @ Steelers - Browns - Chargers - @ Ravens

This looks like a blueprint for going from Division Champs to 2-14 or 3-13.

Logically we should kick the snot out of them ... but this is what scares me ... They can't possibly be a 2-14 team can they??? And how many games can they lose in a row??? Chances are they're going to bump into a win somewhere along the line.

God I hope we don't find a way to screw this game up :-(

The Jets have dodged the trap game like a superhero with teleportation abilities.

However, I don't see this team doing well.

They're about to quit. If the Jets can get the same lead against the Bengals, they'll fold. They are another team that is inept at closing out games.

They don't matchup well either. We should take care of Shipley at the same time.

This looks like an OL our DL can actually dominate at the right spots. If Gholston is gonna get a sack, this could be the day.

There is absolutely no excuse to lose this game. We seem to be catching the Bengals at just the right time. They hit rock bottom by blowing that lead to Buffalo yesterday and it sure looks like Lewis has lost the team.

We usually start about 1pm and finish at 10pm (The family is Italian so its like 38756352 courses). Gonna have to speed up the end courses to make 8pm start, but I don't think even sweat pants are gonna save me from a heart attack this Thursday.

I keep asking myself, self? "When are the Jets gonna blow a team out" When is their breakout game going to come? If its against the Pats or the Steelers I'll be happier than a pig in shit.

Why is this team seems to play down to the level of lesser teams and then go and manhandle the Pats in the 2nd half like we're owned them. Waiting for the Jets to put a shellacking on someone. If they play it close to the crappier team, and kill off a top feeder, then I am fine with that.

And although the current "Strength of Schedule" looks to be weaker, it wasn't like that when the season started. Minny was predicted as an SB contender, as were the texans. Denver was supposed to be a bteer team as well. The Lions & browns were expected to cause fits but be sub par. And these two teams are the ones giving better teams the hardest times.

Two things can happen here. The Bengals decide to play like there's no tomorrow in which case, they could very well upset us at home on TDay. Our Oline hasn't been playing particularly well lately, our running game has fizzled out and our short to midfield defense is getting raped weekly. Yeah, this isn't gonna be a cakewalk by any stretch. I look for another nailbiter with the Jets coming out victorious at the end. Hopefully, not by another stunning comeback but instead, a dominant performance by the defense.

If the Bengals haven't given up completely, we might have trouble with their slot WR, Shipley, and their big monster TE (Gresham?). Hopefully Lowery is back and can play the TE. He's been good so far this year in his hybrid CB/S role; he realizes that a TE can't beat him deep so always stays in good position to defend well or get a pick.

the best to do is score TDs early, have Revis manhandle and frustrate T.O, and watch Ocho bitch on the sidelines.

    From PFT:

Safety Cris Crocker looks to be out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. Excellent starting cornerback Johnathan Joseph (knee) is “out for the foreseeable future.” Safety Roy Williams (concussion) and Brandon Ghee (groin) also left the game early.
