the key this week is to get up early. That defense checked out two weeks ago. If we get up early, TO and Ocho will check out as well.

If we get up 10-0 or better by the end of the 1rst quarter, we will roll through this game.

Next week should be a takeaway fest, palmer has been horrible this year.

this game screams blowout. bengals blow a 31-14 lead at home to the Bills. they've lose 7 in a row. short week. they probably travel wednesday. they probably have to prepare like crazy monday and tuesday. the players are probably pissed to begin with. it's thanksgiving and they're on the road playing a meaningless game for them.

but it's the NFL. the jets haven't been able to break open games when given the chance. the bengals do have weapons. they probably wouldn't mind payback from last year.

BTW, jesse palmer threw 3 passes today. did carson get injured or did they just take him out?

We are overdue for a Special Teams score. Our guys are ranked 2nd in average kick return yards.

So I'm predicting 7 from ST next week

My biggest fear about this game is the fact we had to play Houston tough to win today. Not that it means we're a bad team or anything, just that the fact we had to play them tough and now we've got a few days til this one...meh.

    That said, Jets 28 - Bengals 12

The Bengals have to be demoralized after giving up a 31-14 lead to the Bills and lose 49-31.....it's the fucking Bills for christs' sakes.

But having said that.....it's a short week....and I hope the Jets are well-prepared having only 4 days to prepare.

The growing trend i've seen over the last month or so....is that the bottom-feeding teams seem to bring their A-game when they play us....the Bengals will surely do the same. Despite the Bengals the record...their offense still has the weapons to do some damage.

Especially since, for me at least, the game will not be starting much after I ate dinner with the family. No real time to digest and brace my mind and body for the game.

Fatigue could be a factor for the Jets. Short week. We played 5 quarters last week too.

Cincy can score, so I expect nothing less than another nail biter. It's really, REALLY obvious that we don't blow these bad teams out. I know we beat the Bills bad, but Denver, Minny, Lions, Browns and Texans are a trend, not the exception.

Denver, Minny, Lions, Browns, and Texans are all pretty decent teams. Actually, and if you've seen the Bill play the last few weeks you'd see that they are pretty darn well. The jets proved they are a more physical team than the Bengals last year. They are still a more physical team this year and will win. Maybe a close game but maybe not.

    Denver 3-6
    Minny 3-7
    Lions 2-8
    Browns 3-7
    Texans 4-6

I respectfully disagree. These are bad teams.

I was looking at the game details for the Bengals and Bills....

The Bengals secondary is really banged up.

They lost 2 safeties, Crocker and Williams and 2 CB's, Brandon Ghee and Jonathon Joseph.

Crocker and Joseph are starters. Joesph is a huge loss, he is a very good CB and 1/2 of a top 2-3 CB tandem in all the NFL.

Hopefully if thats the case, we pick on their secondary earlier than 56 seconds left in the game.

Lions and Browns are tough teams. They can't finish games but they give everyone a tough game. It didn't surprise me both teams lost by one possession.

Houston just doesn't know how to close out a game. They don't wanna win.

Denver and Minny are the worst of the bunch.
