that'd be a cool 3rd uni.. but i like the current logo.. so that helmet, while pretty effen cool, doesn't do it for me like the current. edit: lol@pats & fins unis.
me too... some of them are hideous... but a lot of them are f'n cool - Namely the Jets and Bengals ones..
i dont want to see these personally...im more of a nostalgia guy..imo those jerseys would make the nfl look like college football. keep it the way it is. how its always been for the most part
Someone I know put this on his Facebook a while back. I don't see it happeneing, not with us, at least. We don't need the whole NFL looking like Oregon.
You're probably right.. but its a cool concept.. I like the idea of a 3rd alternate as a uniform kind of like this. I could definitely get used to it... would definitely suit our more aggressive style.
Teams aren't going to have much of a choice will they? Nike has the contract and wants to make money, so they have to release a whole new product on the market.
These are terrible. The Steelers one has friggen Diamond Plate on the helmet! The Lions and Ravens logos are going backwards, which is awful looking. Broncos going back the the old logo won't happen. This is just some fans terrible rendition of uniforms.
pretty nice for an alternate uni but I like the ones we have now. but that is one of the better black jets alternates ive seen out of a ton of concepts. wouldnt mind seeing it once a yr or something. that being said i like the subtlety and look of our current unis. and the 80s jets logo is pretty lame imo. go with the classic.
I think each team has say over their design, I doubt Nike has carte blanche for every team in the NFL. Teams like Pittsburgh, Oakland, Green Bay and Dallas aren't going to do this, I guarantee it--no reason the Jets need to. We have a great, classic look which is a nod to the old AFL that we put on the map, leave the trendy shit to the Panthers and Seahawks of the world. Just my opinion, of course.
Hah, I just realised half of the logos have been flipped to face backwards. What the fuck is the point in that?
