I would say that Jerricho's 'David Tyree Moment' would be the catch he made on Thursday night in Foxboro in 2008, where he caught the ball against his helmet. That play yesterday... I mean, you knew the moment he started hopping that is was his groin. And he made that catch. That catch personifies and encapsulates how important a player to the Jets that Cotchery has been. And Why he is above criticism when he has a single, solitary bad game.

I still think the greatest play he made was against NE in 2006

TRUTH......Those last couple of games were VERY uncharacteristic for JCo. The R-E-A-L JCo stood up on Sunday.

To me it is now this play. I remember one against the pats (i think) were he caught the ball rolled on top of a defensive player, landed on his feet and sprinted for a TD. This was all heart and desire and replaced that one as how I will remember him.

Jaco just told Cimini it's a slight groin tear.

Doctors didn't give a timetable. Definitely out this week probably more.

Groin injuries are tricky. NFL players seem to recover quicker than basketball players though.

Basketball players usually end up losing two months or so

Just thinking that... got up from rolling over the NE defender and put us up 10-3 at that point.

And I can't find a video of that play. That was one of the greatest plays I've ever seen

Nah it was in the regular season. He got hit high and low, his knee never hit the ground and he got up and ran for a long TD

I know someone made it into a gif. I can find it later when I get home from work.

I can't even remember the name of the RB we has that ran for 100 yards in that second game. Pretty crazy how far the talent level has come in those 4 years.

Kevan Barlow, but I don't think he got to 100 yards in the game we won.

Lets not talk about Cotch's best moments when we had Mangini. Rex doesn't want to hear about that shit. It's like talking with your girlfriend about all the good fucks you had before you met her.
