i havent seen the usual selling of knockoff t-shirts or hats at all this year.in years past i have had to fend off constant waves of people selling t-shirts hats donations and petitions.could it be that i now park in no mans land in the IZOD parking lots? or did the jets put an end to this??? just wondering b/c with the cold weather approaching i usually buy some $5 knit hats for the kids during the winter.... how is it in the PSL parking lots???
Oh they're out there. Them and all the usual suspects looking for donations. I may have to park a zip code away now, but they still find their way out there.

hahahah. 3 for 5 bucks AFTER the game. Good times. I usually stay for a couple of hours afterward, I've gotten some a dollar a piece before.
Dudes are hilarious. I'll usually keep them going for 5 minutes or more and than not buy anything. I'll have them describe the type of material, how it will stand up to different detergents, what they were packed in, possibly get a guarantee that it does not contain bed bugs on a piece of paper, etc... I treat them like a Nigerian scammer. Sometimes we will get a whole bunch of them around us and do bidding wars.. Its a goddamn riot!

Good point, in all the games this year I've only seen 1 guy selling T-Shirts. Even he wasn't really selling, he had a custom Jets shirt on and we asked him where he got it and he said he makes and sells them. I'll post the site when I get home, he's got some funny stuff.
BAWHAHAHA! I bought a couple of knit hats a few years ago at Marshalls for $5. Actually the Marshalls & Filene's Basement at Jersey Garden's usually has a lot of Jets stuff on the cheap. Been really successful at Marshalls. Target and Kohls in Clifton have been good too.
We had a bunch of guys at Van Halen a couple years ago at Izod, my firend got the t-shirt guy down to like $4 each for five or six of us. It still almost fits, good for yard work.
I loved working roving back when I was security for NJSEA. I can't tell you how many guys I'd walk up to with my hat backwards and when they got close I would turn the hat and they would drop the shirts and run or just hand them over to me. Came home with 10 shirts from a Billy Joel/Elton John at the stadium one night (mom's a big fan). Floyd, Van Halen, ACDC, concerts, events (I got hired for World Cup back in '94), all kinds of shit. Best was Greatful Dead. The hippies would tote around a cooler with a sign "Buy rock for $1, get free beer". Got my self a nice cooler that weekend...LOLz
