I think that says a lot about this team. Road games are never easy. We survived some very hostile crowds to and have risen when we were behind. We blew a big lead in Miami. We showed up in Buffalo in what many considered a trap game. We were beat and were left for dead in Denver. We were again left for dead and needed a miracle in Detroit. But through all of this we won all four games. It definately says something. Especially with the huge target on our back. This should be a confidence booster for the Browns, Steelers, and most of all....Patriots road games. The same Patriots who haven't lost a regular season home game with Tom Brady at QB since well, when we defeated them 17-14 on November 12, 2006... and ironically the week before we beat the Patriots, the Colts beat them at home. And Ironically the Patriots next two home games are Colts-Jets (with Lions in between) 5-0 on the road now, we definately are ready for New England. Thats our next road game.
It's funny, before the season started guys were predicting the season outcome, and someone had us with a 12-4 record but all home losses and someone replied, something like "If the Jets go 8-0 on the road I'll shit my pants" or something along those lines. But we'll see, two of our toughest games left are on the road so lets hope.
I think this team can come back to New York hot and ready to take on the Texans... But this Browns team is going to be no joke. They'll come ready to play.
Only one good decisive victory at home this year!two others were loses and one other we barely escaped.
We havent had a home playoff game since 2002 when we blew out the Colts 41-0 I believe.Since that time we have been in the playoffs 04,06,09 and all road games. As much as I love all our road victories Its time we had a home playoff game!
The offense needs to learn how to score at home. The defense does it job at home. Actually, the defense plays its best at home.
Winning on the road is confidence builder.....I like the fact that the Jets can waltz into any stadium and pull out a win.
